Detroit Police Academy

This review is specific to the animal control division. I was extremely displeased with officer Nendley’s decision to issue me a $100 fine when my dog jumped the fence and escaped his yard. It was his first offense, and he did not bite anyone or cause any harm. He was returned to the yard in a matter of minutes. I thought a warning would have been more than sufficient in this case, and politely told her so, but she was unwilling to let the matter go. These kind of interactions unnecessarily antagonize law abiding citizens, and give the Highland Park police department a bad name.

Police are very nice and helpful and this is also the place to vote early. The set up to vote is fast, safe, and secure place to exercise your right as a citizen of the U.S. and make this country work for all people

Officer Lodesky helped remove ice from my windshield around 01:30 in the morning last winter. I was more than appreciative for his kindness and consideration. Thank you, Officer Lodesky!

Most disgraceful civic organization in this county. They're selective about who they help, if you're a non white or make less than $100,000 annually, you're simply not a priority. Chief Schaefer and Commander O'Neil were of little assistance.

Come and go safely everyday in part because of the great men and women who serve Highland Park and the rest of the country. Thank you!

They helped me when I tripped on the sidewalk on st Patrick's day the fire dept helped too and put me in the ambulance and took me to the hospital
