Best breakfast joint in Dexter. Must try! Every time I go here they make you feel like family. The owners help the workers side by side every day to provide an exceptional level of service and high quality diner food for both dining In or taking home. You have to try their biscuits and gravy. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options available!
Everything was great. The food was fresh, prepared perfectly, and served beautifully. Our server was fantastic. It was our first time here and he went above and beyond. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place highly to our friends and family. Thank you!Food: 5/5
Brunch - Sat around noon, my 3rd experience in 2 yrs, and I believe it may be my last given the other breakfast options in the area. There were not many patrons indoors, perhaps 4 -5 tables being used. 2 in my party. Waitstaff - The waitress was below average in friendliness. Filled coffee once. Very lackluster energy. Seemed not to want to be there and let it show. Food - the pancakes were ok - but strangely when I asked for blueberries to be added to the pancakes...this translated to a small pile of blueberries on my plate of plain pancakes. Cleanliness/atmosphere - older / outdated look to tables and booths is often charming in a diner, but here I was uncomfortably sitting on a large patch of curling black duct tape holding together a large tear in the booth seat. Price - reasonable given the inflation last year, although I was disgruntled to notice a 4% credit card fee added to my bill. I had plenty of cash on hand and would have used it if notified of the fee. All said and done, will not be returning if I'm the decision maker in the dining party.
My girlfriend and I went out Sunday on the hunt for a relaxing Sunday brunch time meal. With no plans we didn’t think we’d find ourselves in Dexter, but we did. We sat down in patio dinning area, where we were surprised at how quiet the noise level was in downtown. We were greeted by Julian our server who was very kind, down to earth, and welcoming. With a welcoming informative attitude, he explain the restaurant family owned, with him being a son of the owners. After taking the drink orders he dashed away after leaving a bold comment “oh, you WILL like the food” and right he was! Best skillet I’ve had, my girlfriend can say the same for herself! Ingredients were fresh, our items involved a lot of house made meets, and veggie. We even received a complimentary watermelon plate, which hello? Where they get that melon? Perfect watermelon, hunt at plum market all you want, won’t find a melon like that. My girlfriend adds: Julian my guy is the guy. Had an amazing vibe about him, very kind, mature, and welcoming. Treated you like a friend/family. Service and experience you look for in a place.
Nicest staff EVER! Friendly, kind, and attentive! Breakfast is delicious, fresh ingredients, and best around! Being able to sit outside on a pretty Michigan morning enjoying good food and service is wonderful! Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Food is mediocre. Service is good. But the price is absolutely insane. Chicken tenders and fries is $18 WITHOUT TIP. Do not waste your time and money here. They are ROBBING you for frozen meals they throw in the microwave/fryer. I understand inflation but the prices here are so terrible. It’s so sad because the people are great.
I will say that they are very welcoming and nice . The nice Lady gave me a free orange juice . I had gotten the chicken waffles . My only complaint was it was almost 20$ and I did carryout . I’ve never spent that much on those breakfast items in my life unless I tipped lol but that particular item tasted average . As far as other food items I do like .just a bit pricey in this area .
Absolutely fantastic! Pancakes were perfectly light and fluffy, sausage was delicious! My wife chose the skillet photo attached and it was so good, I was FORCED to take a bite. Good coffee, great staff, and family-owned — highest recommendation.

A nice small town cafe. Based on location it's more expensive than some diners around us. Downtown Dexter is nice. Our server was friendly and on top of coffee fills and everything else. Food was good. Menu had most options you would look for including crepes... but no eggs benedict.Food: 5/5
