Delicious Italian and the BEST gluten free Pizza anywhere - thin, crispy, chewy, YUM! They use Caputo GF flour from Italy, so they know what they're doing. And the Puglia region wine special we had on a recent visit was such a tasty smooth, full bodied red. Mouth is watering thinking about it.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
DiNardo's was a pleasant experience for lunch. Me n the rents stopped in for a casual lunch on a recent weekend. The restaurant was rather quiet which was nice, the overall ambiance was inviting. We sat in a well lit sunroom and had a solid menu of offerings to go over. I ordered the orecchiette pasta w/pancetta. My parents ordered seafood dishes. We started w/ wrapped asparagus and all our meals came out fairly promptly fresh made to order. The grilled wrapped asparagus had a great char and the cheese on top was of good quality as the flavor was sharp n pungent. A really great starter for what was to come. My pasta was al dente and had a nice consistency to it. The pancetta was high quality and the broccoli rabe was made right meaning it wasn't tough n stringy, I hate that. The flavor on the sauce was phenomenal and overall the dish was great cept for one lil nagging issue. It was extremely Salty! I prefer it under salted so I can add to taste but outside of this all the food was delicious. Would def recommend and will be returning. I'll just know to request the salt toned down.
The food roast chicken, spaghetti, rigatoni, veal, and sides was ordinary, the gluten-free pasta overcooked and soggy. Worse, the owner was rude, rigid and belligerent. We were a party of 9 in their so-called formal dining room, a few feet away from their casual dining room. My grandson ordered a gluten-free pizza from the "other room," but we were told that they don't serve their pizzas in the formal dining room, even though the pizzas are on their online menu along with all their other options. We asked why not but she insisted that was their policy and they haven't changed their policy in over 40 years. When we asked if she would make an exception since my grandson and his father can only eat gluten free she told us that we could all move to the "other room" but she wouldn't serve pizza in her "formal" dining room. Our large party had already been seated and were about to order, and there were no other customers in the room. She refused to let the waiter walk the five extra feet into the "formal" dining room, so my grandson sat through dinner without food while we all ate. She said we could order his pizza, have it boxed up, and take it home, but he couldn't eat it in the dining room. And we could leave if we didn't like her rules. We found her rigidity and rude behavior outrageous. There is nothing formal about their formal dining room except a tablecloth added to the tables. After we ordered, they also informed us that they didn't have the gluten-free bread on the menu either. This restaurant is not worth your trip, not for the food or the service. There are many finer restaurants in the area. Two waiters apologized for the owner, but it's still not worth the bother.
Loved the option to eat outside, inside, or inside with a tablecloth. Delicious Italian food - I had a wonderful gluten free/dairy free chicken liver with onions and mushrooms, husband had bow tie pasta with lobster tomato cream sauce, friend had a pasta with pancetta - all really yummy! And lots of people were stopping by just for pizza. Also the Tiramisu is light and decadent! Parking: Parking on street or behind the building.
One of the best . The food is spectacular ! My husband has dietary requests that are always adhered to. Relaxed, joyful atmosphere and all the servers are amazing. I always feel welcomed by a good family. Enjoy.Food: 5/5

Totally sux!!! Staff in a panic cause so short handed. Rude on the phone. Left hanging on hold 25 min. Told they're too busy to help me
If you are reading my review and considering, know that you have to come here. The food is VERY GOOD.
Would give 6/5 stars if I could. Have been eating here for nearly two decades - and this is without a doubt the best Italian food you can get on the east coast. Yes, I've been to Little Italy, Eataly, and the North End. This restaurant is like family, and the food is superb. I've been getting the same meal every time, chicken parm and the more I have it, the more I crave it. You cannot go wrong with DiNardo's.
