Food is always good. Sometimes, the ribs are Chewy but also tasty. They have the absolute best SIDES AND ROBUST MENU.. SMALL PLACE, BIGGGGGG FLAVORR. If some of the ladies that take the orders had a little customer service trainer or hospitality training, this place would double in ProfitsFood: 5/5
Edit* Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 3/5. Not the best night of bbq. Dialo's had decent bbq. I love the smoke smell off the street! I love the black history and richness they have as wall decor. My two biggest cristisms were the rib tips smothered in sauce, and I'm more of a meat eater with sauce on the side; the other was the greens wasn't tender enough. However, I will be back for more ribs without sauce and to try their Mac and Cheese. Parking: Parking is tight! But when I went, there wasn't a lot of people there. Kid-friendliness: I don't think they have a kid-friendly menu. However, there's enough food to share.
I placed an order online. Purchased a large dressing and was told I had to pay for cranberry sauce. I can understand paying for an extra one, however cranberry sauce should come with dressing. It has in the past. As much as the sides cost it should.Food: 3/5
Nice people. Great Menu selections. It's a small storefront, easy to miss, on the main drag through Fairplane M139, Scottsdale Rd.. The BBQ chicken was fantastic. It's a little bit zippy, but not to hot even for the wimpy. We both enjoyed it. She had white meat and I had dark. Her cabbage and dressing were both good. My okra was excellent! The first bite of the greens was very tough. The rest were Ok but weirdly flavored. I like trying new foods. The menu is big enough that I could come back regularly and not have the same thing twice.
Wed 11.2.2022 5:00pm. While in Benton Harbor for a few hours taking care of business, was looking forward to eating some of Dialo's food, which is normally pretty good. Was planning on eating inside the restaurant today, instead of driving and eating. Amazingly, the host cashier would not let my wife and I sit inside to eat, even though it was two and a half hours before closing time! As you can see from the attached photo, they were not allowing anyone to eat inside. Not to be allowed to eat inside of a diner at 5:00 p.m. on a nice 70° day in November is unforgivable. We crossed the river and went to Cracker Barrel instead. Very disappointed.
Good good food.....! This is a Friday I should have ordered much earlier may be an hour and a half they were busy and crowded so keep that in mind busy days Friday, Saturday, and Sunday also let them know if you won't, your fried meats cooked medium well or well done. Oh yes, thank you Doordash.
They have, hands down, the very best collard greens I've ever had in my life. The rib tips were out-of-this-world good, too. There was nearly a line out the door on a Sunday afternoon and no wonder: Dialo's is the real deal and worth the drive from Kalamazoo. We will be back!
Ordered the Diablo Fries and ate them out back. Currently too stuffed to drive... My only regret is that I forgot to get cornbread and greens. Excellent place, thanks!
Small hole in the wall that packs a big punch! Fresh food served piping hot & straight from your grandma's kitchen Food: 5/5
First time here and it was seriously amazing! I even gave my mom my leftovers and she thought it was to die for! We will definitely be looking for their food truck. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed. Ordered rip tips, macaroni & cheese, and yams. The barbecue sauce was out of this world!
