This is your park to visit if you're looking for the biggest and most populous park in Bemidji Restrooms: Locked at night and during winter Picnic area: Everywhere
A very lovely park there was something going on with the college there. But got to hang out and relax. I don't know if it was just me needing to relax with nature but it seemed that the area the ground the land wanted relaxation and peace.
There's a swimming area I love going down there just getting my feet wet I don't go all the way in but it's enough to be my feet with I always have fun Playground: Great place for the kids to get rid of some of their energy Restrooms: Always clean Dog-friendliness: Pets owners always pick up after their pets Picnic area: Great for barbecue
It's just a really great park. You can rent bikes, paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, and other boats. Plus there are grills scattered throughout that are for the public to use. A highly recommended summer spot.
Always a pleasure to visit the park. A great place that the community enjoys. I think its worth mentioning how well taken care of it is. People obviously work hard to keep it a nice place.
Great park with picnic tables, benches spread throughout. It was fun watching the bald eagles fly in & out of the trees overhead. Great view of the lake. Public restrooms. Canoe rentals. Free parking.
Great park to come to with the family. The beach is beautiful. There's plenty of space for the kids to run around, and they have a playground too.
