This one of my favorite places to eat! The food and service are always excellent. When my boyfriend and I went there tonight, our food took a little longer than usual, so our server offered us free desserts. F.Y.I. the lemon, raspberry drop cake was so delicious. Don't be fooled by the exterior, this restaurant is a fabulous place to go! We have never had an unfavorable dinner experience there. They also have breakfast, lunch and take out.
Over priced. Two meals and one beer = $40.00 before tip. Salad included with dinner but dressing costs $1.25 extra, not something mentioned on menu or by the wait staff. May not share a meal, no senior or small portion menu. Take cash or if you use a credit card, they will charge you their interest for using a credit card. The waitress was nice, food was hot, lasagna flavorful.
Great food done just the way it should be. It was nice to be able to take our two daughters out and enjoy a good meal without them going crazy. It was all due to their Macoroni and Cheese. It was awesome and not fake. Prices we're okay but the service was spot on. Good place to go once in a while.
This place is a gem. It is an establishment that has a long history. A little off the beaten path, so to speak, but definitely worth the trip. I go there about twice a month. The best things to order, in my opinion, are the seafood and the Italian food. The fish seems to be fresh and the red sauce has a nice balance. Not too sweet, spicy or sour. Friday night seafood chowder is wonderful. Burgers are offered and of course pizza and wings are popular. But they really do a good job with the seafood and that is not so common in this area. I know that at least some of the desserts are "home" made. All of their prices are actually very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Check out the early bird specials. The savings are quite substantial. I am not normally one to post pictures of my food but I was so impressed with the scallops yesterday I snapped one. I will try to post it. It all was right out of the fryer and absolutely steaming hot. The fries were so crispy and tender inside. The scallops were HUGE and so very tender, juicy and tasty. I could only eat half of them and I am a big tall guy. The rest for lunch today. Over all it is a nice little, family run and family friendly, "old school" restaurant.
My wife and I stopped in for the chicken eggplant parmigiana special. We were not impressed. The chicken was dry and so hard the knife barely cut through it. The eggplant was completely soggy and there was more cheese then sauce in the dish. The meal seemed to have been frozen and heated for service. The side dish of noodles was good with an average marinara. We did however enjoy the polite server. We will not be back.
I've lived in Fairmount for 38 years and I've never ordered from this place. My parents who also lives here for a very long time never ordered from this place. Went there for the first time recently because there was a coupon in our Syracuse book. The guy who worked there was super weird about us placing our order as well as picking up our order. Because they put the toppings under the cheese, he didn't know whose pizza was whose so he had to open up one of the pizzas to figure out if it was ours. The pizza tasted horrible and I will never go back.
Very disappointed. Ordered Prime rib special medium rare. Way over cooked and tough. Did not see any pink. My friend ordered the seafood platter and it was also over cooked. The wait staff was very nice but we will not go back.
I always order from dibellos and this is the last straw, i didn't get the right flavor on my wings and the girl on the phone is very rude. I waited almost a hour 1/2 for our food and when it arrived it was cold. If you spend almost $70.00 on food you should get it hot and exactly how you like it. The girl also told me she wouldn't apply my $2.00 off a large pizza. Disappointed.
Food is great, facility is great! Mike who looks to be the manager this Monday night was terrific. Great personality and truly cared about my order and experience. Never met the guy before, but he is a gem, they're lucky to have him!
Waited an hour just to be brought out the wrong food and the original order was never placed. Management is difficult to deal with and treats customers rudely and with disrespect. I tried calling the manager four different times about a problem we had and could never reach them or was told they were unavailable. Kept calling and she finally realized I wasn't going away. Was felt to believe the problem was our fault. when a restaurant takes the attitude that you need them more than they need you it's time to find a new place to frequent.
