Overall a decent experience. Person working the golf section said he'd be right over and he ended up waiting on other people. Upside, the extra browsing time helped me find a better deal. And then he helped me order it to the house.
We had purchased kayaks a couple weeks ago and my husband's seat strap broke the second time he used it. We brought it back, as well as the paddles that were too short. The manager, Michael, was incredibly helpful and understanding. A little kindness goes a long way!! There was a $30 difference with the longer paddles and he comped it for our trouble. Just such a great guy with a great staff.
Tough place to shop. Layout is poor. Selection is even worse Not employees fault. Only good for some sports. Had gift cards. Walked around for 30 to 40 minutes. Didn't find much exciting to buy.
It’s a good local store. The running section for most brands are just really unorganized. Different styles all mixed in. I’ll find something great and come back a month later to purchase more and it’s all over the place.
Needed to return a reel...went out of their way to make it simple. So nice. Great service. Manager was super understanding, staff super kind and helpful.
I normally don’t write reviews but I waited 45 mins to get into a dressing room and the people would still not come out and the staff wouldn’t do anything about it so I had to purchase 500 worth of clothes to try on at home to probably make it back to return some. And then I walked out with10 clothing items in hand because they don’t carry bags? Wilton location

The store itself is OK but the people working there are absolutely rude and not helpful at all. For example: last fall I ordered my son a pair of shoes for pickup. The Employee who brought the shoes out to my car did not greet me at all and ROLLED HIS EYES when I said “thank you” despite his awful demeanor. Judging by the looks of him he was probably perturbed he had to walk outside at all. It wasn’t even raining or anything. Forget asking for help in here. Most of the employees are either clueless about where an item is, don’t care to help you or both. The only reason I even shop here is because they do have a decent selection of sportswear.
Went to buy new shoes. 2 employees seemed more interested in putting together a display then helping me with the sale. I have been a loyal customer but I'm not begging you to take my money when I can go somewhere where I'm not treated like an annoyance.
I very rarely visit this store because let’s face it it’s not easy to afford high end sporting good items this day in age. Last year my parents house burnt down and my climbing Treestand was inside the garage so I finally got just enough money together to purchase a climber that I found online for $206.98 when I got there the store manager came up to me because I was looking around and asked what I was looking for and after about 15 minutes of trying to find the correct stand we realized he had it in stock but the price that I found online was incorrect. This is where customer Service comes into play because he honored the price that I found online and that made my day because without him doing that I would not have been able to afford the stand so someone give the store manager a raise or at least a hi five! It’s not easy to stay positive dealing with customers all day he could’ve easily told me to go scratch so thank you guys I got to use it this morning and I couldn’t be happier with the product. Let’s make sure the entire team follows the lead of the store manager! I will definitely be visiting the store whenever I need sporting-goods. You have earned a lifetime customer! P.s. i’ve always gotten my hunting stuff at Walmart but Good customer service deserves good customers -Joey Ives
