I had a recent procedure done where the staff and facilities where top notch. My concerns were listened to and then met with thoughtfulness and professionalism. I will get more of my medical treatment done at this at home care clinic at Marshfield of Dickinson County.
Fast, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'd give a five star if the after hours clinic was open on the weekends but they close at noon on Saturday. Marshfield is a lot better than DCH.
The Nurses and staff are all top notch my biggest complaint is that the ER was so backed up there’s no reason why someone who’s in pain should wait 4 hours to be seen. Would hate to go in there if it’s a real emergency, next time we will do the 2 hr drive to Greenbay. The rooms after being admitted were not very clean was a bag of dirty laundry on bath room shower floor which was also filthy, I would not even shower my dog in there ,,and the beds are no better than a camp cot. The food also was aweful , cold when it came,flavorless and dry chicken Breast that you could not even swollow, Breakfast the next AM not any better,also cold and gummy French toast. Was hoping that when new administration came in things would get better.
My ED experience was a positive one. We received prompt care, and the nursing staff was friendly and thorough. Dr. Hart was very friendly and professional. He had great bedside manner with my teenage daughter and he did a great job explaining things. It was nice to see a provider listen to the patient. We were in and out very quickly- as the ordered tests were followed through right away.
Don't go here. My mom took a bad fall needs surgery on her elbow that is broke in 2 places and they can't get her in for surgery there no OR time pathetic so they want to send us from aurora wi to marshfield what a joke nope send us to marquette thanks for NOTHING
Terrible! Administrator will not return my calls. My sister who is mentally disabled had leg surgery Aug 30 7am and today is sept.1st and I have YET to receive a call from a Doctor Randall who performed the surgery to tell me how it went and what he or she did? And already returned to nursing home! I am her legal guardian . Besides other medical mistakes they made while she was there. Chris LaCosse
Not convenient- no urgent care, I should apparently go to the E.R. and tie up their resources. They will run unnecessary tests, bill you and try to taking you to small claims. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
I just want to warn everyone to Avoid this hospital at all costs. My Sister was involved in a horrible accident in which she was Air-lifted to another hospital but before she left, this hospital took her WEDDING ring off and STOLE IT.. We filed a police report and the hospital is under investigation but just think about that for second, your loved one or anyone is in critical condition and these employees prey and STEAL their belongings. Unbelievable! That is beyond disgusting and DCH should be ashamed to have such a horrible employee on the payroll! Stay AWAY if you can! The hospital will pay under insurance but nothing can give back what was STOLEN..!
If your getting a major surgery from Dr Joseph Donahue you'll be sent home to suffer. My friend had a major surgery & was given Tylenol 3 which obviously didn't work. She sat in agony for a full week. PLEASE GO TO GREEN BAY OR ANYWHERE ELSE! people are being punished for the opioid problem that the doctors created.
Top notch nurses & staff makes DCHS worthy of 5 stars. Previous monthly infusions for over five years and now every six months has given me first-hand experience with how hard this community hospital works together.
