This is a nice theater, but I didn't give it 5 stars because there's nothing about it that makes it an especially "fancy" theater either. Prices are reasonable. Seats are comfortable and the place is cleaner than the theater in my hometown. Definitely one of my go-to theaters. During our last movie, we could hear the movie next to our theater, which was weird, but it didn't ruin our experience.
Just watched violent night and the place was super clean. The seats were new and rocked. Every two seats had a small table for your goodies. I think the hubby and I have found our favorite theater now
The concession kids were all so nice and quick. Only thing is I got spoiled at my old hometown theater where I used to live had recliner seats with the footrest. But has been clean everytime I go decent food selections and drinks live the fountain soda machine lol. They are now my goto for theater.
Seats are comfortable, and they rock! There is plenty of room and small tables in front of each seat.
Post pandemic the large bag of popcorn has shrunk to the prepandemic medium. Only one refill on what's really a medium bag. They are saving about five cents in wholesale popcorn kernels at the expense of customer experience and loyalty. The seats are tiny and uncomfortable. I strongly suggest Carlisle regal theater with huge recliners and unlimited refills. This is our last visit here. Too many better options to better enjoy your movies.
Mixed reviews for this AMC...the movie was good and the theater was nearly empty just how I like going to the movies. The attendants were VERY rude. I was the only customer at a large open concession stand, but not even leaning over the counter and making direct eye contact was enough to break up their conversation. I had to speak over the group TWICE during my stay to purchase tickets and snacks. It's clear this large, empty theater has seen better days, and I don't think it will improve if this is how the staff treats guests
Haven't been here since this was the Flagship Cinema. Our theater had new vinyl easy chair rockers with cup holders. Comfortable. A little narrow for us large folk. But not too tight. Plenty of leg room. Also small narrow tables in front of the seats to put food on. As with most theaters these days screens are too small, cost is too high and sound proofing could be better. We could hear Thor from next door. Sound was OK. But Top Gun Maverick was outstanding! Excellent followup to the original movie.
What happened to the AC? The theater was clean. Can we ever get fair food prices?
We had not been to this theater in a long time. Theater was clean. Staff were courteous. Screen was a bit small for the depth of the room, so we sat closer than we usually do. However, the seats will prevent us from going back any time soon. The seat bases were low and flopped forward. All 4 of us middle aged adults left with aching hips and lower backs. This theater is really behind on the seating upgrades other theaters are making....including other AMCs.
Only 1 star for cleanliness of the theater. Wife took off work early yesterday so we could get to the theater 1/2 hour before the movie showtime on Friday afternoon and there was a line at least 50 people long and only 1 person at the counter for purchasing tickets AND selling concessions. People started demanding their money back that had purchased tickets online. People were coming into the movie after it started for at least 20 minutes which was also very distracting. Management, if you don't have enough employees to operate the theater then close it until you do to save people from the bad experience. It was pretty bad, probably won't be going back to this theater anytime soon.
