The Digital Archives of Barry University is part of the Rare Book Collection and Archives department within the Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library. It is located at Lehman Hall - Room 201 at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.
The Digital Archives maintains the photographic and audiovisual records of Barry University, from its founding in 1940 to the present. The digital records document the governance, administration and academic pursuits of the institution. The digital records are organized into nine groups related to the Photograph Collection: Beginnings, University Presidents et al., Students, Athletics, Facilities and Grounds, Events, Schools and Departments, Associations, and Miscellaneous.
The mission of the Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library, within the Division of Information Technology, is to serve Barry University students, faculty, staff, and community by providing exceptional patron services, information literacy instruction, and innovative information resources to support teaching, learning and research. As a center for scholarly inquiry, the Library supports Barry University’s mission and Catholic, Adrian Dominican traditions. The Library’s archival, instructional, public, reference, and technical services, as well as the Library’s comprehensive physical and electronic collections, are dedicated to advancing knowledge and truth, inclusive community, social justice, and collaborative service.
