i have had absolutely nothing but positive experiences in this dillard's but today your saleswoman, holly, went above and beyond with me and i want to make it known! she is SO nice and SO professional! we had a wonderful conversation while she checked me out for my item and even gave me a free sample! thank you again holly
My experience with Dillard's was nothing short of a nightmare. I cannot express my frustration and disappointment enough. I needed a car seat to complete the last checkbox to get my baby out of the NICU, and Dillard's was supposed to be the solution. What a letdown! Upon arriving at the store, I was met with clueless and unhelpful store attendants who seemed to know nothing about their own inventory. After being assured over the phone that they had plenty of options available, I thought this would be a straightforward process. Boy, was I wrong! I had to endure a long and agonizing journey of talking to multiple staff members, including the manager and store manager, trying to arrange for the floor model insert to be ordered for me. This should have been a simple request, but it turned into a bureaucratic nightmare. To add insult to injury, the store manager seemed indifferent to my situation and lacked any sense of urgency in resolving the issue. I felt like they couldn't care less about my baby's well-being and my urgent need for a car seat. In the end, I had no choice but to go somewhere else to find the car seat my baby needed. Dillard's failed miserably in providing the basic service they promised, and their incompetence and lack of empathy were beyond disappointing. I will never step foot in a Dillard's store again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this company if they care about their time, money, and most importantly, the safety and well-being of their loved ones. Dillard's should be ashamed of their abysmal customer service and complete lack of responsibility. Absolutely appalling!
I took my sisters to Dillards to look for a new swimsuit for the summer and to shop for new baby clothes for my son. I am in my mid 20’s and felt like Yolanda made an assumption based on our age on how to handle an assumption on stealing. I understand people have jobs to do, but just by walking over to her department she followed very closely and never even asked if she could help with anything just followed closely. One of my sisters and I went to try on our clothes while the other stayed by the front waiting on us. She doesn’t like trying on clothes til she’s finished looking at everything. Yolanda approached her while my other sister and I are trying on our clothes.Yolanda said my sister that was just waiting had to try the clothes on then and there or pay for them. My sister explained she wasn’t done shopping. Yolanda then told her to pay or put them back. My sister placed her clothes down since then way Yolanda approached the situation was very rude. My sister knocked on our fitting room and explained what happened to me. We get dressed and as we exit the fitting room Yolanda and another associate check our items. Everything is accounted for. We don’t even get an apology or even approached about it nicely at all. At the end Dillards lost good money that day. Three woman trying swimsuit and clothes worth more than 100$ each lost due to customer service. Do better.
Today was my last day. I was supposed to work till the end of the day I was asked to leave after my final paper work was finished. When I left everyone had that prison look on there face.....your getting out and I'm not....look.
Always a clean and diverse collection of clothes and accessories! Reno is lucky to have this place as the population grows.
I took my niece prom dress shopping… selection was good, but fitting rooms were closed and we couldn’t find a salesperson anywhere other than the beauty counter.
I bought a gift card as a Christmas gift for my 85 year old Mom, she has always been a fan of Dillard's. I want to thank salesperson Robin for her hard work helping my Mom while I waited. Robin was the only person working in her department that day and she had several customers to care for all at once but was still able to help Mom with her selection. Well done Robin!
I am a first time shopper at Dillard's. I was just on an outing with my mom, who really is a Dillard's fan, I have lived in places where there were no Dillard's. Upon entrance we were greeted very nicely by employees. Store was very warm with its color scheme, decor and lighting. The attendanta woman, with a lovely shade of red hair who was working the fragrance center at the time was just SUPERB! with her personality, knowledge, and help. the gentleman working the men's department was spot on with help in finding a tailor to help my mom with some garment alterations from home. Was a visit as if we were treating ourselves. Thank You Dillard's.
I don't normally post bad reviews as I only like posting good reviews to help local businesses. However, the way I felt walking out of Dillards warants it. I went in looking for dress shoes for my wedding, as I was looking around at the dress shoes the 2 employees in that area walked away from me as soon as I walked their way ti ask for a shoe size. I decided that maybe I should leave and not deal with it. However, one of them decided to walk back my way and ask if I needed help. I showed them a Steve Madden loafer that I was interested in trying on, the persons response without even checking to see if they had the size was " Have you looked at these shoes they are lower priced and some are on sale." At first, I took it as a suggestion. I tried a couple on and did not like the fit and finish. The whole time, the person was helping me, and they kept suggesting shoes that were on sale or "below $100.00" After the employee walked away, I looked at other shoes, I asked a separate employee for a different shoe in the needed size. The fact that this person could not take me serious enough to stop eating her snacks while helping me and essentially offering me lower priced shoes as well is where I decided to leave. The air of pretentiousness that came from these 2 people as of they were better than me was insane! I will never shop here again. It baffles me how customer service reps treat people at highend retail stores.
I was helping a friend shop for a dress for a cruise. Of the two other stores in the Reno area that we checked, Dillard's has the best "evening " dress selection that I know of in town. Sizes seen, 6 - 16. But the 14 - 16 was very limited.
