The Dillon Slammer is a local, charitable 3 on 3 basketball tournament that takes place during every summer at Gilbert Willis Park in Wixom.
The 4th Annual Dillon Slammer Tournament is coming up fast! This year's tournament will be held August 4, 2012 at Gilbert Willis Park in Wixom! The entry fee for each team is $100, with each team consisting of either three or four players, with the fourth player being an optional substitute. The grand prize for 1st place is $250. Each player will receive a Dillon Slammer t-shirt along with complimentary drinks and hot dogs.
There also will be a 3-point contest, with further details and a prize to-be-determined.
As a special promotional deal, the first 8 teams to register by July 27 will be entered into a drawing, with the prize of the drawing being their $100 entry fee given back to them.
Games start at 9:00 with each teams' first game and match-up being released the day before the tournament.
There also will be a 5k run to benefit Guardian Angel Animal Rescue. There is an entry fee of $20. The time of the start of the race is TBA.
