Director of Sugar Bakery is a home based business offering freshly made gluten-free and dairy free baked goods at a reasonable price. I can make almost anything gluten free, just ask! Prefer pick up, but delivery could be arranged if needed.
My name is Jennifer and I have loved to bake since I was a little girl, and have wanted to open my own bakery since I was a teenager. Through a crazy series of events in 2002, I found out that I had Celiac Disease. When I started looking for gluten-free foods for my new diet, all I found were frozen, dry, tasteless and very expensive products. I finally got tired of eating cardboard food and decided to apply my baking skills to making gluten-free stuff. It was definitely a learning experience and it has taken me many years of trials and errors with gluten-free baking to get where I am today. I went back to school in 2008-2009 for baking at George Brown College, and have applied what I learned there to my gluten-free baking.
I do not have a "store" but bake from my home. I would love my own store one day, and hopefully this is the start of it!
