Great place for tires and customer service! Bought 4 tires from them about a year ago. I take my car back every 6000 miles so they can rotate and balance for free. Never had a issue, we are definitely coming back.
I had a great experience with this tire shop. The folks who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable. The service is fairly fast. The prices are affordable. What else could I ask for. Keep up the good work guys!
Car rim scratched during service while replacing tire. I brought my car in to Discount Tire Schaumburg on 11/13/21 to get it's rear passenger side tire replaced because it got punctured. I had ordered the day prior and dropped my car off, a few hours later it was ready for pickup. I was one of the last, if not the last customer picking up, it was around 6:45pm and dark out, tire looked fine, but when I got home I noticed the damage on the rim on the rear as shown. They didn't say a word about it when I brought it in the following day. If this is what they can do replacing just one of your tires imagine what they could do when they replace all four. They ended up replacing the 400 dollar rim completely after a month and a half later after dozens of emails and phone calls on 12/31/21. Whilst the store denied any fault, saying there was nothing wrong with the rim. Next time I'm going to a legit company or a dealership that knows how to do the job right without damaging my car. I wouldn't risk taking your car here, not worth the slightly lower price. I received beyond poor customer service and found it hard to have anything done by the store and company to fix this problem. Edit: They also covered the cost of the tire replacement as well as the rim.
Poor experience- came in for a free flat repair as I had strapped my truck down on the valve stem and caused a slow leak. I was very aware of the issue. I’ve been a discount tire customer always so I thought I would use the free service. The team did not even take the wheel off the car, called me back and said it’s a leak on the actual rim of the wheel. It was not. The lug nuts were not touched. They showed me a video and this was not my wheel. I did not want to argue so I went to another place. It was the valve stem as noted. Very very disappointed. Bad business at this location.
I just want to acknowledge that Matt and Aaron went above and beyond to take care of my car and within my limited time, they really worked with me and I don’t know otherwise how I would have managed without their help. The service and friendliness and willingness to help in my time of need is so appreciated you guys, I hope your manager does something nice for you both!
Had some wheel damage and had to get the wheels replaced. The whole process was pretty good, and they always had me out in less than an hour, even when they were at their busiest make sure to make an appointment, if you are able!. Thanks to Michael salesperson and Matt helped with a small post-install issue for your assistance. Overall, I found my experience with this Discount Tire to be better than other tire/wheel experiences.
Matt was friendly. Got a specific tire for me in a timely manner. Install was quick. Always love discount tire for their service. Repeat customer and will continue to be as long as they are around.
Arrived to my appointment early at 2:45pm when it was originally scheduled for 3:30pm. The discount tire employee said it would still take up to 2hrs and be ready by 4:45pm. At 4:30pm I noticed my car was still in the parking lot not serviced so I asked Matt the dim-wit manager why my car was not ready or being worked on. He said it would be ready by 5:45pm. I pointed out that I had been waiting since 2:45pm and almost 10 customers had come and gone within that time and I was promised that my car would be ready by 4:45. He assumed I came in without an appointment even though I did and said that those other customers had appointments and said I’d have to wait longer. Once I told him I did make an appointment he then said oooppps looks like someone entered in the wrong completion time. Anyway he never apologized and to top it all off all four of my tires had different tire pressures. I called discount tire and Matt the dim-wit manager answered and didn’t offer any apology for the 4 different tire pressures on my car. Rather he backed up his claim that we put the right pressure in all our customers cars. Yeah I bet, especially when your techs rush through an install last minute when they’ve realized they screwed up and never apologized for it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THIS DISCOUNT TIRE IS RUN BY CONMEN. THEY CLAIM YOUR TIRE IS BELOW LEGAL TREAD LIMITS JUST TO GET YOU TO SPEND MONEY ON NEW TIRES WHEN IN FACT YOUR TIRES HAVE MORE THAN WHAT THEY CLAIM.
These guys are fantastic. Book your appointment online to be in and out. Also make sure you get their insurance for your tires.. it’s well worth it. Mike was the one who introduced to me. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
I had a nail in my tire while driving on expressway. I went to 4 different tire shops and no one was able to assist. I took a chance going to Discount Tire knowing they were already closed. I knocked on their door and they were able to look at my tire. They confirmed I needed to get a tire replacement. I asked if they could please replace it since I had no spare tire and I lived 40min away. I asked them to also check my front tires since I was recently told I needed to get them replaced. Surprisingly my front passenger tire was so worn out that it was completely ripped. They told me I really need to get it replaced since it was very dangerous to continue driving with it. They didn’t have the same 4 tires I had, but provided me with different options so I could drive back home safely. I’m so very appreciative of Michael & the other gentleman who helped me thru the entire process. They tagged team together to get it all done very quickly. Thank you both for staying way past your closing time to help a desperate customer! THANK YOU, you guys are the BEST!! Wonderful customer service!
