They were very friendly and let us drop a piece of heavy equipment in parking lot while went to find a tire somewhere else. They didn't have a 16 ply heavy equipment trailer tire at the time because not many people use them. Those tires are for a trailer and equipment weighing around 20,000 pounds.
Let me preface with I have lived in many states and always had great service with this company. Not here! My friend had a tire leak. Tire had been bought at Discount Tire in a different state with their insurance if there was ever an issue. Dropped off car at 10 am. They never called or texted as they said they would. After trying twice to get through 15 minutes before they close I finally got through and was informed they couldn't get lug nuts off and my friend would have to go somewhere else. Went to pick up keys and they could have cared less no one contacted me. It was their company that put the tire on. Wasted whole day with no way to get tire fixed today. Total lack of care for the customer. Consider a different store before going here.
I went there due to a low tire light that Walmart failed to fix. I was met by Antonio. He was SO pleasant. He checked my tires and told me all of them were low. He then said to go to this area outside to get air in them. I went to that area and was met by Fernando. HE WAS AMAZING!! Even tho he was just putting air in my tires, he did it with a smile. He was SO pleasant and friendly. After he filled them, he told me what issues he found and what to look for. Discount Tire ROCKS!!!
Replaced 2 tires and 2 sensors - in and out in less than 30 minutes! They looked pretty busy, but making the appt in advance made all the difference. The associates were kind, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient
Free tire repair was awesome, but finding out that any tire I buy from them except Michelin won't have a warranty due to the manufacturer of the car setting the wheels with slightly different off-set sizes. Only Michelin will give half of the warranty, and not full warranty is ridiculous. I was ready to purchase a full set in a month when I get enough cash together. I'm not about to drop over a grand on tires to only be told I'm on my own once I drive out of the parking lot. I'll check with NTB, and if they don't have the desire to warranty the tires either, then it's back to the dealership to buy them. The rep said I could put the same size all around to get the warranty......but an inch difference in rim width means I'd have to oversize the fronts or undersize the rears. It's not an option with high-performance heavy luxury barges.
They told me I've needed two back wheels because of shaking in the front end when it was struts. They told my my tire wasnt patchable because the "screw was in sideways" and it was just stuck in the track. I've made appointments and STILL had to wait 30-45 mins before they even take my car back why even make an appt?.
Got my wheel inspected for a flat tire. Once everything done, drove off and lug nuts on the wheels were not tightened properly. Lug nuts fell off the wheel while driving only one lug nut was holding the wheel in place. Get your s**t together!!!
I've never had a problem with this location, let alone Discount Tire. There's a reason they are ALWAYS busy, and I don't mind waiting to get the job done right. Jeff, the ASM at Hurst store, has helped me many times and went out of his way to fix a problem I had with a totaled cars' tires I wanted switched out. Thanks for keeping my old German autos on the road guys!!!
They where about to close at 6 but fixed my tire staying over 30 minutes for me only such a kind place to fix your car
I have been going here for numerous years. They have always given me wonderful reliable service with a smile and fixed every flat tire with no issue. I went there today thinking I had a nail in my tire. Only to find out there was nothing wrong with my tire it was low on air, but then I was told my rim was deteriorating around my tire. I asked really never heard of a such a thing. So as the conversation went on with the sales person he told me that it was best if I got four new rims. So he proceeded to call around to find the cheapest for me. Which I very much appreciated since I am on a budget. I got home after thinking about it all day and had my husband look at it. He was very upset said that I have aluminum rims and there is nothing wrong with them. He did call to talk to the sales person and let them know that he did not appreciate them trying to sell me something that I did not need. It will most definitely make me think about continuing to do business with them.
