Always a happy place to be. Extremely fun especially the breathtaking Star Wars rides! We bought park hopper tickets and would strongly advice to spend at least a day in each park to really enjoy the atmosphere here. Many rides are old and really brings back the memories, and the new rides are interactive! Must ride all the 3 Star Wars rides, and the Mickey Mouse ride!
What a great park! What it separates it from other theme parks from all over the world is that it feels like you are really in a Disneyland because even the sky is not real because it’s kind of built up to a certain point… Mountains with snow etc… The rides are great, the waiting time is always displayed and it doesn’t really feels like waiting because they show you always some specials things on the way, sometimes you don’t even know on which point the ride is really starting. Great experience!!!
Spent 4 days here and loved every minute. Even with 4 days still didn't have a chance to see everything so will just have to come back again. I recommend getting the genie passes as the waits for the rides can get really long but the food choices are great with healthy and naughty options to suit any mood. Also love the characters just walking around so you bump into them as you go. Genuinely enjoyed this experience and would put it as the best theme park we have been to in a long time. Clean tidy and very friendly perfect vacation time.
You cannot visit California without stopping to visit the original Disney park. As a native Floridian, I grew up with Walt Disney World, but had to see the original on a trip to California. While it does pale in comparison to Walt Disney World, in a lot of areas, such as sheer scale of the park, it was definitely an enjoyable time. If you have not been to either, I would suggest visiting Disneyland before visiting Disney World. That way you don’t feel let down.
It's been a while since I visited Disneyland, but I had to describe it! Something you hear about, watch and wait to experience live has come true! It not only left an impression on my older daughter, but also on us who are a little older : Not to mention the grandparents holding hands and walking around the park... Excellent organization, big crowd, prices of course food and drinks are not small and not to mention the price of souvenirs. Great experience and you have to pay for it, great rides and the very important thing - I met Mickey Mouse! The evening parade was amazing.
This was a great experience. It was very fun but also crowded. Disney’s genie plus is a great deal and I highly recommend it. With it, you are able to get on many rides very quickly. Also, the friendly staff will take pictures for you for free in designated areas. They will be sent to your phone. The cons to Disney are the outrages pricing and large crowds. I was at the park for one day from the morning to about 5:00 pm. I was able to experience about 60 percent of the parks rides. and attractions.
Dream place for kids. I would say this place is colorful and creative. One of the busiest park I have seen and each and every ride is detailed to the last. We can see how much efforts one has done to bring Disneys magic to real life. Completely satisfied to what I paid and I would suggest to take a lighting pass to bypass busy rides especially in Disney land. Disney land is big and it will take more than one day to cover it. If you have kids plan to visit this park more than once to see all rides
It is a great experience. Buying tickets in advance is a must. There is no buying tickets boutiques open anymore, everything is done online now. When you enter, you just scan your tickets. It’s a little pricey, but find some discounts. We went on a weekday thinking that will be less crowded, but it was not. There were a lot of people. Genie + pass are advised, but be wise. Plan your day, otherwise it can be a waste of money. But if you plan it well, it can save you time to see/do more. With Geniepass, you can go just ones on fast line Lighting Line/LL. You can not go over and over at the rides you like.
Crazy as it may seem. Disneyland wasn’t as packed as we expected. The wait times was less than we thought. Most of time waiting for a ride was less than a half hour. Of course the newer rides had longer lines. The earlier you get there the better chances of getting on the rides you like. We especially enjoyed getting on some of the original rides that were there when Disneyland opened. Kind of like Disneyland better than Disney World. A great day out. The only downside are the ticket prices these days.
I like this park better than the California park. If you've never been to Disneyland, prepare for big crowds. All attractions are extremely well done and fun. Even attractions intended for kids are entertaining for adults. Most attractions follow the same principal: sit in some sort of cart and get whisked along a track experiencing a story. The two Star Wars rides are incredible and have mind blowing technology making them work. The downfall is that the Rise of the Resistance ride constantly breaks down. This leads to the longest lines in the whole park. Additionally, if you've purchased Genie+ it doesn't work on this ride. You can still skip the line for a huge fee per person. I dislike that money grab. Meeting the characters, watching the parade, and watching the fireworks are must dos. We didn't try the dining experiences; we saved that huge chunk of cash. Maybe next time.
