Excellent every step of the way!! Our salesman was Danny Tabor. Danny listened to what we needed and did not want, found what we needed, was very responsive in communications, honest, helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. We were very pleased with our agreement on our trade-in, purchase price, and details. They more than answered all of our questions and provided wonderful education on our new camper. We bought from another company last time and will never go back. We are big fans of Great American RV Superstores! Every employee we worked with understands customer service. We sent Danny an email from the beach asking him to find this camper & he did! We just relaxed on our vacation while he did the work. Five stars plus plus!!! Happy Campers David & Kim Meeks!
We purchased our travel trailer at Great American RV Superstore and the sales team was great. I waited to complete this review until I had some experience with the service department. Well, we just picked up our travel trailer after having some warranty work completed and dealing with the service department was just as excellent as the sales department. Shawnee kept us updated on the status of the repairs. The team went the extra mile and took care of a decal issue that we weren’t aware of and had our baby all washed and ready for us to pick up today. I can now say without reservation that our total experience with Great American RV Superstore has been excellent, well recommended!!
First time RV buyer. Danny Tabor made it the best experience. Him and manager Tammy Brannon went above and beyond for us. So grateful for their patience, expertise, and positivity during the process. They made it so swift and effortless on my part. Customer for life.
Sales associate David was absolutely great in assisting my friends looking at class C RVs. No pressure and was impressed with his knowledge of the vehicles. Thanks to Jason also for his follow-up. I purchased a class A from great American 16 months ago and have had no problems. Super folks to deal with.
We just finished our second purchase with Great American RV Superstore in Grand Bay, AL. It’s difficult to say in words what a positive experience this has been. Danny was our salesman and he was absolutely amazing. From our initial contact via phone, through the delivery he was with us all the way. It’s rare that you find a salesman that is an advocate for the buyer, but that’s Danny! Our tech was JD. To say that he was both knowledgeable and patient is an understatement. We stayed in our rig on property for two nights and JD was right there to answer our questions. As we were ready for our departure first time hitching a fifth wheel, another tech was right there to walk us through. If you’re thinking about an RV I can’t recommend Great American RV Superstore highly enough.
Danny was absolutely amazing! He took time with me to show me exactly what we had talked about me wanting prior to the appointment…. He was so upfront and honest and very willing to try to find ways that work best for my budget. I will refer friends and family to him when shopping for any kind of RV!
***Update*** The service manager called me and said he wanted to bring a new stovetop and come to my house with a tech to install it. It apologized multiple times and he and the tech spent about 45 mins getting the new stovetop to secure into place. This meant I didn't have to spend my time or gas money pulling the camper back up to them. In the end, they made it right, so I'm increasing to 4 stars. We bought our camper at the store in Hammond a couple of years ago and the entire process was really good. Sales team, finance team and the folks doing the orientation were all really good. Fast-forward to needing service and it's left a very sour taste in my mouth. As far as my experience with the service department, well, I'm still trying to work out the issues. The service advisors are pretty good, but the actual techs that do the work...well!!! Once I got the camper home after the yearly Lifetime Warranty Inspection, I found the stovetop sitting on top of the table and one of the burners unscrewed just laying inside the stovetop. The stovetop also had a bend in it that wasn't there before. I spent an hour reshaping the bent part and trying to get the stovetop back on, but I'm still unable to get the back right corner of the stovetop to secure into place. I've sent Mark, my service advisor, pictures of all this and after talking with his manager their solution was for me to bring the stovetop back to them and they would give me the top of another unit that is going back for warranty work. I told Mark that may be acceptable to get the stovetop secured into place in the back, but if not I'd have to bring the camper back in so they could fix it properly. At that point, I'd have made two extra trips to the Grand Bay store incurring extra gas money, more time missed at work, and more of my time in general, all because they failed to properly complete a job. Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper at the moment. I'm still not sure of what will happen to get the stovetop fixed, but I did ask Mark for at least some portion of a refund since I paid for work that was not completed and had to use my time to troubleshoot and fix what should have been done before I was told my camper was ready for me to pick up. This whole experience causes me to wonder what else was not done right that could potentially cause damage to myself, my family, and the camper! The latest I heard from Mark was that a refund would have to go through corporate and could take 4 to 6 weeks, so they wanted to know if they could just top off my gas tank as compensation. I responded that I don't feel that is fair compensation and that I feel GARV needs to make this right by fixing the stovetop and refunding a large portion of what I paid due to the personal time that has and will continue to be incurred as a result of faulty and careless work. I'll update this post based on how GARV works to get this resolved.
Great service and treatment from great professionals. Thoroughly explained all options and opportunities across various line of coach manufactures. Tammy Brannon was awesome and very professional in handling warranty options and financing possibilities. Daniel Moree was surfer helpful in helping decide which unit. The technician, Wade, was thorough with operations and very knowledgeable about all the mechanics and more. Great dealership and people!!
I highly recommend Great American RV! We have had a fantastic experience. Danny was our salesman he listened to every question, and request we had to get us to the PERFECT travel trailer. Not only did he meet our expectations with finding our new toy he and Jason worked together on getting it transferred to our location within a timely manner all along while keeping us updated along the way. Tammy had all of our papers ready to be signed as we walked in the door, super nice and helpful with any questions we had. I can’t forget Brandon he was such a pleasure for our trailer tour he has us leaving knowing exactly what we need to have a good time camping. Thank y’all at Great American RV for your awesome service! We will be back!!
Daniel did more than just help me. He gave me details I didn’t know I needed and with me being a woman he wasn’t overselling anything and he wasn’t trying to keep me in the blind about anything, women iykyk! this would be my first time thinking about camper living and he is making this process a little less stressful to think about now that I have a list. Thank you so much Daniel !
