Open Table Weekly in Houma, LA! Serving Louisiana's DJ culture since 2006!
DJ Dr. Souss started The DJ Cafe over 7 years ago after being relocated to Houma, LA in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Once in Houma, he started an open table weekly event called the DJ Cafe at The Brick House it wasnt long after its popularity grew and it became Houma's most successful EDM weekly to date.
Running for over 7 years the DJ Cafe came to help establish many young local talent who otherwise may have never had the chance to play mainstage and get their careers on track and get themselves established within the DJ community.
DJ Dr. Souss has since stepped down as host and handed the DJ Cafe down to Righteous James who then handed it down to DJ Tech with Weekend Warriors and Bass Massive Productions. The event still holds true to its same format offering open table format but now holds special events on occasion as well.
