Go in an see Herb and his son. So great to talk to, and keeps money in local small business. Just take a walk around in this hardware store, and you'll find things you didn't even know you needed. Prices are great also!

Never been there before and soon I tell the old man what I was looking for he never looked just told me no. But the other worker in the back heard me and I finally got want I needed. The old man apologize to me for being rude for no reason.

This store definitely brings me back to childhood ! There were many mom and pops businesses like this store when I was growing up ! They are professional and fully stocked with essential items for our daily needs ! The owner is a very sweet old man that is friendly and very knowledgeable of all the tools of the trade . I have utilized this store having keys made to buying lawn equipment ect. This cute store is a miniature Menards in the north end community that makes you feel good when purchasing your items knowing you're supporting a small business.

I have always been able to find what I’ve needed, assistance, advice and suggestions for purchasing the right product at Rice Street Do It Best hard ware store. I’m a grateful that they are so close.

Love the old Rice store. An original that takes you back to a better time. Helpful have the stuff you need and knows exactly where in the store it is. They do not hover allow you to browse and are so kind. It was nice a to go back to the neighborhood.
