We sat outside in the alley which was very nice and calm. Our food was fantastic and had a perfect size. I ordered the veggie appetizer combo and a salad which easily was enough to replace an entree. Hubby ordered the mixed grill platter and was happy with the portion as well. Both meals left enough room for one of the yummy desserts. Prices are extremely reasonable and staff is friendly and quick. 100% would recommend but maybe make a reservation if you plan on eating here after 7pm. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available. Some of the options should technically be vegan as well Mezze, salads, veggie burger but I'm not 100 sure. Wheelchair accessibility: Parts of the restaurant can be accessed with wheelchair but there are stairs and a narrow-ish walkway to get to the restrooms. Outside seating in the alley is accessible but again stairs and a narrow path to get to restrooms.
Mondays are for getting the Mezza Platter at Olive Lounge. That is all. No, seriously, that Mezza Platter is life, and really the only reason I need to go, but if you MUST have more: Olive Lounge has been a community staple for a long time. It was one of the first places I frequented when I moved to Takoma Park, and there's always a good time to be had at Olive Lounge. Family owned and run, the food is both exotic and comforting. The staff is very friendly, and always welcoming. Can't ask for a better place to go on any night of the week, and their daily specials are tough to beat. Vegetarian options: Very easy to find good veg/vegan food on the menu.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Usually order take out, which I did this time. I happened to be out with my dogs when I decided to order food here. When we walked up, seems like everyone dining outside noticed us and many came to see, pet and play with my dogs. I met some really nice folks and saw pictures of their dogs. I love living in Takoma park.
Came in on a rainy night. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. Food was great! The lentil soup, hummus, falafel and baba ganoush are some solid starters. Fries here are great, and the gyro was tasty. Reasonablu priced too, and they give a lot of food. There's also a bar in the back that I didn't realize was even there.Food: 5/5
Went for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The town area is great and then the food was exactly how I like it. Portion size and price was great and would definitely come back.

I ordered the turkey burger without bun and French fries and spinach dip and fried eggplant for pick up. Everything was well seasoned - not salty, not overly seasoned. The phone ordering was friendly. Nice people. This is my new spot, but it's too tight inside the restaurant to enjoy eating in. I didn't go to the bar.Food: 5/5
A local Takoma Park institution, Olive Lounge serves up some fantastic pub fare with some very surprisingly tasty vegetarian and non vegetarian options. They have a nice selection of beers, and plenty of space. The back bar is a really nice spot to hang out and kick back with some friends.Food: 4/5
The food itself isn’t…bad. But it’s not like good either? I’d say this is an okay place to eat middle eastern food if you’re not familiar with middle eastern food. Otherwise it’s pretty bland and mid. The place itself seems cute. Maybe the drinks are good? Idk.
