Went there for regular preventative check-up covered by my insurance. The hygienist told me she's not going to do any preventative cleaning today, as if she does that, it will be a lie to the insurance company that everything is okay and I don't need deep cleaning. So she advised I should come back for deep cleaning. Regular cleaning can't be done on my teeth. However she sent a claim for D1110 coderegular cleaning that's covered 100% by my insurance. Felt like mis lead and it seems like I lost my insurance benefit even without getting any treatment. Sorry, not going again to this place!
What ever you do stay away from this office. My daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled last year. They never billed our insurance. I call once a week to check status of our bill and the office manager Michelle will never call me back. Finally last week I receive a letter that my account was sent to collections!! My credit will be ruined because they can’t do a simple task of billing the correct insurance company or returning a phone call! The nightmare has been going on for over a year.
This office deserves a big zero. They will not correct billing errors, will not return phone calls and do not know/charge in-network pricing. They are money grabbers that require payment before you leave. I had to call my insurance company to get a credit of $153.00. I also requested that my insurance company investigate this office as they are impossible to deal with and do not care about you at all or providing correct billing-just pay through the teeth.
Stay away from this office. I have been dealing with them to correct their billing issues but they will not do it. Their claims are not processed properly for which insurance does not pay and those charges are put on me for covered services. They do not want to do anything about it. I was told that they will take care of it and now the charges are reported to credit bureau.
Great work. I had probably the best experience at a dentist office, ever. I came in do to a root canal tooth that had a cap that just would not stay. The prior dentist i am so fed up with. I was recommended this office from my mother and I am glad I came. The staff was great and friendly. Dr. Harmon was great as well. She was very thorough and went over everything with me; between prices, steps to take, why the cap is routinely falling. Her assistant Dr. Patel was great! She is very empathic and treats you like a person and not just a patient. Everyone who helped me was at their best. Good job all around!
My family has been coming to DofDM for over 10 years and overall they've been good, Very friendly. But lately the quality of service - ESPECIALLY at the front office - has gone down. We get treated to a sassy attitude, eye rolling, smirking and generally making the customer/patient feel stupid and not valued. Just another rude corporate practice now. Sad. It's time to move the family to a different dentist.
This office is fantastic. They’ve always been responsive to figuring out complex issues. Every time I walk in, the staff has been friendly and seem happy. If I did have an issue, the office manager is excellent as well. I’ve had plenty of bad experiences in NJ with doctors since moving from out of state, but this office has definitely not been one of them.
My visit today for my final crown replacement went great. From the minute I walked into the office to the conclusion of my visit, I am treated like an old friend. The staff are professional and friendly at the same time. Regina, Brittany, Chelsea, Tania, Liz and of course, Dr. Forrester made this a great visit through their friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail. Keep up the great work!
Dentists and Hygienists are Great - Office Staff Not so Good. I have been going here for years and recommended my sister take her daughter for braces. Ever since they affiliated with a larger group, the office management has gotten horrible. No communication. As doctors change office hours, they change your planned appointment dates and assume your confirmation is enough. So watch out, if you are confirming in text an appointment, the date may have changed from what you planned originally. The website has the wrong office hours listed, so when you call, no one is there. The office staff has changed and I regret recommending them at this point. I hope they can fix the problems.
I wish someone warned me about this place. I never have had such a repeatedly bad experience with a dentist. I decided to try them March 2021 and scheduled a cleaning. The first appointment lasted 3.5 hours and was just to get x-rays and charting. The technician was still learning so it took forever and then the x-rays got "lost" in the server. The last 10 minutes of the appointment was the dentist quickly recommending I get a filling and 3 crowns! As the front desk was going over the estimate I wanted to ask the Dr. something as she was walking by but she wouldn't even make eye contact with me. I also had to come back for the actual cleaning with the hygienist which couldn't happen for 2 more months. Left almost in tears but decided to give them another try. I let them place the filling and aggressively replace 2 crowns all on the same side of my mouth. From that day forward I was no longer able to chew on that side of my mouth due to pain sensitivity. When I went for a recheck, the assistant asked that I remove my crown by myself temporary cement at that point with my bare hands. When I grunted in pain, she said at least I inflicted my own pain and not her. When I expressed my frustration to the dentist that I was still having problems after 2 months, the dr. got defensive instead of compassionate. After she left the room, another assistant mentioned I may need a root canal if the sensitivity didn't go away why was I just hearing about this from her?. I went back one more time and yes the dentist said a referral to an endodontist was the next step. I finally left them to find a compassionate dentist who performed the root canal and under the right care, I am now starting to eat on that side of my mouth after 9 months. I got yet another bill in the mail and when I reached out to billing- I was unable to reach anyone. Well they got my money but I hope they learn even corporate medicine should be more professional than this!
