This was our first time eating here and I was told it was very good, but we were not too impressed. We ordered a meat and 3 plus drinks, it was just over $26 for two people, not including a tip. The chicken had been refried so the meat was dry and tough with really Cold temp spots in it, from being in the fridge, while the outer crust was very hot. The fried squash was overcooked. However the collard greens, Mac n cheese, lime beans, rice and gravy was good. I'm a big fan of independently owned restaurants, so I am just being fair and honest, just like I am in all my reviews and honestly I think it's a little family owned business that's trying to have a good business that the locals like going to. Maybe I'll try them out again in the future...who knows?
Best wings in Williamston. I’ve been passing this place wondering what’s attracting so many cars to the parking lot and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. There’s lots of options on the menu. We tried burgers and wings. The burgers are good but the wings are better. Plus - there’s ice cream! The service is friendly too. The vibe is what you should expect from a local joint called Dog House in an old gas station. I think it’s great. Already looking forward to trying more menu options. Skip the burger - be adventurous.
Friendly staff at this small town diner. Short order kitchen and menu. Good selection of menu items. Food was decent - I wouldn't recommend Macaroni & Cheese but other than that it's fairFood: 3/5
Pleasantly surprised! My Mom and I stopped in on Saturday and we got the meat and three. We got a generous portion of chicken tenders and each of the sides we ordered. It was delicious!! We even had enough to take home.
Roadtripping to small towns, my sis and I were craving some Southern food and boy did Dog House Cafe oblige! We had a meat + two sides and a tea for around $10 each. As we waited on our food in the small, very clean, bustling diner, we were checking out everyone's food. It all looked yummy and it was obviously a locals spot where everyone seemed to know each other. The food was delicious and we've already decided it's close enough to home to make it an every other week lunch spot. They're also known for their ice cream and milkshakes but we were so full, we couldn't try them that day. I had a nice chat with the owner who was engaging and friendly. He said the hours are currently a bit sporadic because like other restaurants across the country, there's a hiring shortage so I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure they're open. Edit: Two weeks post first review- our second visit was just as delicious as the first. I believe it's in an old convenience store- proof that just like with people, you can't judge from appearances.
The Bologna sandwiches are off the chain! All the food was delicious looking forward to trying the Milkshakes soon!!Food: 5/5

I stopped by their today was charged $18.25 for 6 regular hotdogs. This is ridiculous for 6 hotdogs. I will not buy any more hotdogs @ this Cafe.Food: 5/5
Very good place to eat. Love the friendly people Vegetarian options: They have several choices to choose from Kid-friendliness: They are a friendly place. Well-mannered Parking: Could be bigger but they are listed on space when crowded, especially on Saturday morning Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure Dietary restrictions: They have a variety of foods. Not sure on restrictions
We always go for breakfast, it is the best. Great service and prices too.Food: 5/5
