Dogwood Kennels

Our girl came home bathed, happy, and worn out : We usually only kennel her on long weekend trips, opting for home sitters on extended vacation. But dropped the ball on scheduling this year. Phoned a few pricey pet resorts wanting to ensure Bella was well cared for but they were all booked up. Bud at Dogwood was so kind and accommodating when I called. They took amazing care of our fur baby at less than half the cost! She was there 10 days - we had opportunity to observe her for several minutes before she saw us at pickup and could tell she was at peace and loved! Bella's homecoming pic:

Very good kennel. We left our pup here for a weekend while we were out of town and he was well taken care of and seemed to enjoy himself. The owners are very nice. A great local place to leave your pet with for a couple days.

So glad I found this place! I have used their boarding, day care, and grooming services. The staff are friendly and professional and my dog is always happy to see them. My dog hates being groomed and they work well with her to get her a bath and nail trimming.

We have been using Dogwood for many years now. Our dogs like it here and get excited when we drop them off! The people are very nice, always helpful and will do anything you ask. Great place! Highly recommend! Cash or check only.

Reeked of cigarettes but fit us in at the last minute. And worked with me when I mistakenly hadn’t withdrawn enough cash. They only take cash or check. Prices were very fair compared to other places in the area but I’ll pay more next time to send my dog somewhere that’s cleaner and more updated meaning the actual facility as well as the policies.

Love Dogwood Kennels! They are always so kind and accommodating. They always have space for my dog. Staff are very friendly. Keep in mind they only take cash or check when going, but definitely recommend.

Highly recommend. Staying there for over a decade without any problem. Great staff. Very attentive. Facility is always clean. Great runs. They do close on Saturdays. Also one of the most affordable kennels.

Bud and Jennifer are wonderful and take such good care of our dogs. One of our dogs, quite old and frail, required special care and they went out if their way to make sure she got extra TLC. We wouldn’t go anywhere else and are grateful our pets can get such good care here.

Family owned for more than 30 years, owners live on property and they love our pets. Our dogs are always so happy to go stay.
