Dolce italian bakery

Pulled off the Taconic for a zoom call and as the call ended I was thinking it’s time for a sweet treat. I look up and boom Dolce Italian Bakery. The decor, doesn’t matter… The sweat treats….amazing….. The chocolate covered cannoli was my favorite and I will admit the box of Italian cookies never made it home.

I bought pastries and a loaf of ltalian bread. Two hours at dinner, the bread was stale and very hard! Everyone was disappointed you ruined our meal. I payed for garbage. If I wasn't so far away I would bring it back with the pastries. No body wants to try them at this point. I will bring them back tomorrow unopened.

As the daughter of a Sicilian, culinary trained, pastry chef, this bakery hits all the marks! Plenty to choose from. All the classics. The Pignoli Cookies are the best I have ever had. The crumb cake which is a staple in a Sicilian home was moist and the crumb topping divine! The donuts beat any chain around. Fresh! The coffee always comes with a side of good cooking advice from the owner!

Being kicked out a few years ago after my husband passed going there every day. I am grateful I was kicked out, but people that have businesses shouldn’t be discriminative.

I had my wedding cake made here. People are still talking about it 20 yr. Their pastries are the best also

I buy every cake I can from this wonderful bakery in LaGrange! Strawberry Shortcake and cheesecake are a favorite of mine. You can NEVER go wrong with the cannoli's, gelato or an espresso coffee! Wonderful friendly staff.
