It’s a dollar store, so there’s not much to say about it. You go in, get your stuff, and get out. Prices are mediocre, and staff is pretty nice. Also not to mention there’s another one across the street, and another a few miles away….I don’t know if anyone can drive 15 miles without seeing a generic dollar store somewhere along the way!
It does have good stuff but what I wanna know is how come there is no hair products for black or biracial people, I'm a mother to 3 biracial kids and use certain products in their hair.. the austinburg location is the only dollar general in ashtabula that doesn't carry anything for them.. and I live right by it so it's very convenient for me to go to this location instead of going into Ashtabula to get them
I love making it my last minute stop for the day. 9:30 I'm in and out by 9:55. Just in time before they close for the day @ 10pmm
I had trouble finding the T.P. that was in the back shelves. Eggs were out of stock on Sunday morning as were a lot of other items in the refrigerated section. Prices seemed fine and the employee was very friendly. Though not busy while I was there, everyone was wearing masks.
Most of the older employees are wonderful. The younger girl, however, has a nasty attitude and I will not be returning here. It's a real shame because the location is convenient for me to pick up laundry soap, etc. I will not spend my money here when the employee makes me feel unwelcome and snaps at me.
Employee's are so friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk into the door. Love to shop at this store.
Absolutely in disarray. Products all over the placemore worried about putting up school supplies then making sure the shelves are stocked with everyday items. 7 people in line with one cashier and one walks out on break to go smoke.
AAAAYYYY PLUS! The ladies there during the day are awesome. They pay attention when they are busy stocking shelves and get to the counter so there's no wait. Lunchtime especially. Sometimes other convenience places are not so fast.
nice new clean store. convenient location. could have been bigger though as soon as you walk in the door you feel cramped there is stuff everywhere. but it is well-organized. staff is friendly.
This store needs a manager that doesn't lie. I brought it to her attention and she just grunted and went back into her little tiny office. I can just imagine how many lies she tells her corporate office. I was going to start going more frequently until this turned me completely off. Can't wait till the road opens back up for Family Dollar! My go to place!
