It is apparent that no one really cares about this place. Looks like these bad reviews have been going on for years. This store very convenient to my home so would like to visit more often. This has to be the most unbelievable retail experience ever. Store is filthy, not just a little dirty from high volume sales, but cleaning floors even once a month is not on the agenda. They went through a remodel a few months ago so I was hopeful briefly. You cannot move through the store, not only is there merchandise every where but even the packaging trash is laying every where you just have to wade through. Half the time a complete aisle will be blocked, so no purchasing those item. Very disappointing, have never seen a store like it. The rudeness of the staff is insane, not one ounce of humanity.
They welcome you, a lot of variety, cheap and the people who work are very friendly. A good service thank you
I stop here often despite how dirty, how small and how messy this store is. I even accept the shattered front glass door because they have good deals and it’s easy to get in and out of quickly. I bought my daughter a $5 sports bra, kept the receipt but lost the tag. I tried to EXCHANGE it for a different size and the woman wouldn’t let me because we were missing the tag. She said each item had a different barcode so when I begged to use a new exact same sports bra in the same size for its barcode she said it wouldn’t work. Are you kidding me?! Any other store would’ve had enough info with our receipt and another copy of the exact item in the store. Ridiculous. Awful customer service and highly unbelievable that my receipt with a barcode wasn’t sufficient. Definitely not worth the chaos the store is.
This store is a mess. Difficult to walk around in some areas. The woman checking people out was rude. I had a small basket on my arm with my items and set it down on the stand. She began checking me out and said, "I'm being nice this time. You need to take your things out of your basket yourself next time." Seriously? She's lucky I'm nice. When she was finished with my items, she put the receipt in a bag and said nothing. If you do not like your job in SERVICE to people then go get a different one. I hope she sees this. She will know it's about her. I'm sorry you have a measly little job paying you nothing in retail. Wait, no I'm not. Go get a different job or get a new personality. You have no grounds to be rude and gross to people. Do better.
Recommend not buying pre paid cards from this location as a spent 9.99 on one for my son's xbox and 50.00 for my wife's card and neither of them worked. Tell me who's stealing money from there customers
This store is a mess every time. I’ve never seen a dollar general as messy as this. Awful!
I mean it's DG, so not exactly expecting perfection or a smile, but being rudely told to ring the bell by one of the associates who was up front but putting the outside stuff away sends this one on the bottom. Nice work DG. Stellar, as always. #work ethic #sarcasm
8/19/21 There was a price discrepancy on an item i was purchasing. The female clerk and male, store manager or supervisor, were so kind, apologetic and helped resolve the issue. They absolutely made my day!!!! Great customer service.
Had plenty of merchandise, but the conditions of the place were very filthy and it looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Most shoppers want to feel like they are safe, clean, and well cared for, but in this case, I felt like I had just come in from the farm or factory after a long day's shift because the floor was gross and I wanted to use the restroom, but after seeing this there is no way I would have used their bathroom. Corporate needs to come in and assess the situation and make changes as needed, even if that means hiring an outside company to come in at nights to sterilize and clean the place. I don't feel like I want to ever go back, so maybe down the road sometime, i will take a peek in the store to see if any changes were made. Good luck to Dollar General
They always have stocking carts in their already small aisles, making it hard to get around the store and even to find stuff, they like to run a skeleton crew so when you are ready to checkout you have to use a squeaky toy to get someone to cash you out. I don't see how they don't get fined on a regular basis for not being wheelchair accessible.
