Nice staff, large selection of everything. This place like all of this company's is cluttered and they don't have the staff or the room to always get things put on the shelves. I can see they're doing all they can about it.
Love this place. The workers are easy to communicate with. Very respectful environment. The staff allow you to shop without being in your space. Great variety of items.

Very nice it's new it's clean there's not stuff all over floor . We're going to get potting soil and I come out with $50 more and that's not counting the potting soil.
The store was clean, stocked, and faced when I was there. More than I can say for other retail stores in Newton! Incredible they had 3 people working! The architecture of the building is suspect. Lighting just inside the doors needs improved because it seems the store is closed, and people are just working inside.
We had a nice time shopping. The shelves were not full, but overall we did ok shopping.
They were very friendly and helped us find what we needed but their store is already compact and they had all the carts with new merchendice on them just randomly in the isles in the way of stuff on the shelves and also couldn't really walk down aisles with ease either
Newer location, nice place variety typical DG store.
Good variety of items available, especially for a relatively small shop. The smaller size doesn't affect their quality or limit the choices of what to buy. It just makes it quicker and easier to stop and get what you need without spending a lot of time. You also won't spend a lot of money, cause their prices are more than competitive, they are actually lower on many items than the large very high volume "megastores". Their employees are great too, at least at all the Dollar General stores I have shopped in. Very helpful if you have questions, friendly and polite.
They sell stuff you can't get at Newton Walmart. Like Chocolate life cereal.
