Don Alans was a delightful and surprising find as we explored the Pensacola historic district. It’s well stocked, classy, and well staffed. It’s a true ‘gentlemen’s clothier’ with quality brands and modern fabrics. I didn’t experience any of their custom services, although they did adjust the length of a pair of pants for me. They have a selection of Mizzen & Main, and similar brands, plenary of short and long sleeve shirts as well as polo shirts and more. The service was wonderful and overall shopping at Don Alans was a very pleasant and unexpected experience.
This place is an absolute gem and it’s because of the superb customer service not to mention the amazing vibe here. I felt so cool and taken care of and will be a customer for life. Here’s why: I was looking for a local place to get fitted for a custom suit that I could wear for some upcoming performances. I was able to get an appointment with Bryan and right away on the phone call my first impression was that Brayan really cared about what I was looking for and wanted to know some details of what I needed. He suggested I come in at a time where he, Courtney and Evan could be free to give me their undivided attention. I brought my wife and they guided us step by step through the process of creating a custom suit along with some excellent options to accessorize the suit with different shirts that will allow for many different looks. Before this process, I really didn’t have any experience or knowledge about suits in general and they were so kind to educate me along the way without any judgment or pretense. Just an overall amazing experience! They even gave my wife and I suggestion about a great place to eat for lunch around the corner which we went to right after…. But wait there’s MORE!!! While at lunch my wife and I were still so happy with the service we received and were still talking about it when we saw Evan come in the restaurant briefly and we just figured hey they probably wanted him to bring back some good food since they recommended the place to us. Well it turns out that they all devised a plan to come and pay for our lunch as a surprise to thank us for our business. When we asked our server to get the bill he told us “Oh, Don Alans already paid for your lunch!” We looked at each other and were completely blown away that these people would do something so generous and cool like that. I was already planning to be a customer for life just based off the experience and service they gave me while I was at their store but this is just another level of service. It’s not every day that you get such a pleasant surprise like that where it leaves you looking around like “whaaaat?!??” Incredible! Thank you Bryan, Courtney, and Evan !! What a fantastic clothing shop. We walked in, and immediately found tons of things we would buy. In fact, we did walk out with some super cool On Cloud shoes. The two owners, husband and wife, are awesome! Super friendly, and very helpful. I wish more clothing stores were like this. If you live in Pensacola, this store should be a regular stop for you. If you are visiting, stop in.
Can’t say enough about how great Sam & Courtney treated me. On a day when they typically are not open, they opened for me to do some shopping. The service is INCREDIBLE!! They helped guide me through my selections, and I left extremely happy! Great service, high quality tailored products. This is what you want in a clothing store. The place to go, not only if you live in Pensacola but if you live anywhere in the surrounding area. Highly recommend!!
Let me start by saying i was referred to Don Alans by my sister. This is 100% an honest review. I am very impressed with Don Alans. I have to say that this is only business I can think of operating at a high calibur level of customer service in Pensacola. Courtney is a natural at making people look great. They offer a program that taylor fits your dress shirts as well even down to custom buttons and it is affordable. I got really good compliments on my suit. Someone asked me why didn't I go to Dillards. The answer is the staff at Don Alans are so efficient, they multitask at a unrivaled level. I am a busy person and they had me in and out of there even when I just popped up on them. I mean they even remembered my name. If you are in Pensacola and you are looking for a suit, casual or business attire, this is the place. Courtney, Bryan and Sam, I salute you and will continue to support. You made stand out at my event. Great job and thanks again.
I cannot speak highly enough about this place. As a man who considers a short sleeve shirt "dressing up" they had their hands full when I walked in looking for clothes for my wedding. Pair that with an 18" neck, long arms and thick thighs and you have an "off the rack" nightmare. Their custom tailored clothing is the first thing that has fit me properly in as long as I can remember. They truly made my wedding perfect.
I recently went through Don Alans for my wedding, purchasing a suit from them and renting suits for my groomsmen as well. The staff here are tremendously helpful and they did everything they can to assure that the clothing fit well and that not a single detail was missed for our big wedding day. You can really walk away from here with a classy suit for a fair price, and I recommend anyone check this place out. Thank you guys so much!
My husband bought a suit and shirts here to prepare for his exit from the military, and even after we move we will continue to call Don Alan's for his clothing! You don't get service and quality like this just anywhere. We were expecting to pay about three times what we actually did, too. Love it!
