We had a car accident on 12/15 and we are still waiting for a resolution. It has been two weeks and we are down a car. When I filed the claim it says that want us to get back to normal quick. This isn't quick. Not one person has called to give me information on the claim. I have to do all the calling. The local office staff has been very pleasant but you have to call the 800 number and talk to claims. I feel it would move a long faster if the local office was involved. I have called 3 times since Monday and still haven't talked to my claims adjuster.
My husband and I have been with Allstate for several years now. We had a really good experience with Brian setting up our life insurance policies and our children's college funds. He was very kind and helpful, but unfortunately he is no longer there. I waited a couple of months to post this review, because I thought maybe I would feel differently, but unfortunately I do not. I was involved in a car accident at the beginning of the year. It was the other drivers fault. When I called Allstate I was informed that I would have to call and file a claim with the other insurance company. I have been fortunate to have never been in an accident since I have been an adult so I thought this was routine. My car was drivable, but started to sound funny when starting or occasionally not start at all. I did not have car rental insurance, but I didn't think it was going to be an issue since it wasn't my fault. This went on for over a month with my car and the other insurance company being slow. I understand that the lack of urgency with the other insurance company was not Allstate's fault. I was upset, because I had to do all the communication to get this issue resolved. After talking with family, friends, coworkers and even the body shop that serviced my car all of them said that this was odd. I really didn't have the time to chase after an insurance company with being employed full time and a mother to 2 small children. That's why I have insurance. I was at the point of frustration that I asked to speak with the owner, Don. He agreed to help me, but after I got off the phone with him I had a voicemail from the other insurance company stating that they can arrange my rental car. This experience really changed my perception of this office, because it was such an awful one.
This agent is by far the best in town. Personal service at its absolute finest. Don and the ladies in the office are always there to greet me with a smile and handle my needs as if they were their own. 5 Stars and 2 big thumbs up for the staff of Don Moats Ins!!
They are really good at helping others and I’m happy to have my cars and home insured with Allstate!!
I became a customer of Don Moats in 2006 I was unsure where to turn for insurance at that time. I have always heard wonderful things about AllState also that they truly do work with their customers. I have been working with Laura for a long time as an all the time customer. Laura is amazing of an AllState agent. I have formed a very special bond/friendship with Laura. Laura is like my 2nd true best friend always there when I need her help. Don Moats & Marilyn are very sweet people too I feel like AllState is my 2nd family. I would recommend AllState to any one who wants a trustworthy Agent also a very good insurance company. Don't lisent to the comments people say that their too expensive no their not. ;
