Don Ruben's Mexican Food

I’ve gotten food from here a few times and everything has been delicious!!! I wish I had a picture of the fajitas I ate there the other night but I forgot to take one. Either way, I highly highly recommend the bean dip, the fajitas are to die for, and the shrimp tacos is also really really good! The margaritas are also very good!

Great traditional Mexican food! Loved the chicken chimichanga, shrimp fajitas, and the chips and salsa. Service was friendly and attentive during the dinner rush. Can’t wait to return and try some of the crowd favorites. Highly recommend!

I had the California burrito which was pretty good. It was stuffed to the point of the tortilla bursting so good value. The side of salsa has a bit of a kick but has excellent flavor. I would definitely go again to try more dishes. The staff was was friendly.

Delicious Mexican pizza with shredded beef. Tons of flavor and a crispy crust. The chips and salsa were great too, especially mixing the regular and spicy salsas together. We also had a bean tostada, chicken enchilada, and a beef taco. All of those were delicious too, but the Mexican pizza was by far the tastiest item we ordered. I will definitely be back again.

Absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is beyond delicious with large portions. I would recommend this place for a cute date night or even a lunch with friends.

I had the Poco pollo and it was very good. There was a LOT of shredded chicken, the jalapeno cream sauce was flavorful, but not spicy, and the chips and salsa were perfect. FYI... There has been a change since the transfer of ownership. I have always enjoyed the flavored frozen margaritas , I ordered the frozen raspberry, hardly any taste. Food was mediocre at best. Service was just okay. This had been my favorite Mexican restaurant for years, no longer so.Recommended dishesChips and Salsa

This place was disgusting. I got dirty silverware and when I asked for clean silverware, I got dirty silverware again. The floors were nasty and the ceiling had brown stained tiles. I didn't even eat the food there because I didn't know if the plate was clean, when they plated the food. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. For fear of food poisoning. If they can continously give you dirty dishes, it makes you wonder if they are required to was their hands. I hope they take this into mind and fix the problems in their restaurant.

Very good food. Very nice staff and the Diablo burro is the bomb. I'd like to keep the place secret but the food is amazingly good as well as the service. But I won't tell my waiters name. He's mine and Mama's

Watch out Mi Pueblo, these guys just blew you out of the water. Even the rice and beans were a real treat. The portions are great and make for an awesome breakfast the next day!
