I usually go every Sunday after my night shift. The lady who is usually there a Spanish speaking only/thin lady is somewhat abrasive& lacks personality.I over look this bc we love the barbacoa& pan dulce. But today was just the last straw. If ur having a bad day, don't take it out on ur customers.I called asking for the manager or the owner& she refused to even give me a name & just kept saying she wasn't in.I'll Never go there again..Awful
Parked outside right now and lights are off. It’s closed! Yet it says open till 9:00pm today online and at their door. Another bakery I’ve stopped at was the same thing “in San Juan”
This is a small restaurant inside Donna bakery and it's very good El Rincon del Meson
Worst Barbacoa ever they served me nothing but fat and the lady was rudenevergoing again.
I invite my brother for coffee and he bought sweet bread and as soon as I bit it I asked him where he bought it and he told me here. I honestly couldn't believe it because I've never tasted bread like that from there so I had to go the next day to check it out. It's been more than a year I hadn't gone due to never being bread, or if there was it was old. Now I drive from Alamo just to go there. I guess there's new owners because the bread is delicious/fresh & for some reason the mexican white cheese there last longer than other ones & taste better too! Love it: Thank you!
DELICIOUS CARNITAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and GREAT PRICES
For my first time experience at this bakery was not a good one. I placed an order a day before and come to pick up my order I find out that nothing was completed… apparently my order had not been submitted… hmm so much for the great rating.
The Donna Bakery has such great barbacoa and menudo that they sell out on the weekends! Early bird gets the worm so I suggest you wake up and grab it while you can! The sweet bread is delicious and another fave!! But boy do we LOVE the barbacoa!! They give you salsa with it and a mix of onion and cilantro. If you would like extra theres a small fee but its all worth it! If you want some delicious Sunday breakfast give the Donna Bakery a try! Enjoy!!
The bread I got was so greasy! When I took a bite into my donut I literally felt the grease and it made me feel sick...I wish I didn’t have to give this review but I just really wasn’t a fan of that...my bag even shows all the grease of that donut. It was ONE DONUT!
I love this place they always have the specific bread that I like! Its one of the few bakeries that makes enamoradas
