Donut Connection - New Kensington

We loved this place. Delicious donuts and breakfast sandwiches. It was so nice to get away from the big chains and enjoy some tasty and unique flavors of donuts. Everyone who walked through the door seemed to know another customer so it felt like a true community supported place. We went because they were the only place open early on a Sunday morning but liked it so much, we stopped in again on our way home that afternoon.

This business makes the very best donuts around but I made a special order for a birthday party and they didn't even seem concerned when I told them they had made a mistake. I had a very disappointed young girl as they were expecting what I orderd. Be careful if you special order. I would have ordered from another business if they had told me they could not fulfill my request. I also am dissapointed

Worlds slowest donut shop. Order at the window? This location doesn’t pre take orders like any drive through restaurant is capable of. You would cut the time to get a coffee from 30 minutes to less than 10. If you have patience though, the food is good and employees seem happy since no one has to rush.

Best donut shop always fresh my kids love them the best . I won’t go to any other donut shop .

I love this place. the staff is very friendly and supportive and the hours are great. The donuts are amazing and so are there bagels and croissants.

I just love Donut Connection! I come practically every morning for cup of coffee with creamer,Splenda& Butter Rum! The Staff always treats me fantastic and remembers my face. I prefer using Donut Connection, because I love the people who work there, the owners and of course the coffee and donuts!

Pre-pandemic this place had a five-star rating for me. Post pandemic I noticed that they don't even bother with gloves or any kind of sanitary measures. I just watched staff with fake fingernails, which are bacteria-ridden nightmares, grabbing donuts out of the case with her fingernails and fingertips extending past the wax paper. That's disgusting. Firstly there's no reason to have those kind of nails in food service, they're nothing but a contamination risk. Secondly you'd think that post COVID this business would have figured out maybe using gloves is a good idea. Then again maybe this is why they're always "closed due to illness." Either way it's absolutely disgusting to touch food with your bare hands And it's exponentially more disgusting when you have manicure disease carrying fingertips. But hey, I guess wearing gloves and practicing proper food safety isn't as important as showing off the cheap tips from the mall

Donut Connection serves the most fresh, moist, and delicious muffins of any place I've ever gone. I'm not from the area even, and they top my list. Thankful any time I can get a banana nut muffin from there. Well-done!
