Dorchester Road Regional Library

The Dorchester Library was recently renovated, and is a lovely space to study, work, read, and bring children to. The collection is fresh and the staff are pleasant and helpful.

When you walk in hand sanitation right there. Once fully inside they have the kids area displayed so beautifully. It caught the attention of my twins who will be 1 Oct 19th. Now that is what amazed me the most. It was quiet of course and the atmosphere had a cool breeze will be visiting back again. We stayed for about 30-45 and my babies did not get overly nosey and they where able to crawl around without any interruptions. If say that had a good 1st visit to the library.

We used this library for several months while staying in Charleston during Covid and we always appreciated how clean they kept the facilities. They also always provided take home arts and crafts for our kids. Plus their customer service was wonderful.

I really enjoy coming here. Outside of the ideal selection of books & of course wifi, I come here cause of the helpful minds. I mean I'm stealthy loner type individual. But the staff is always helpful & they take interest. I love when I come in to research somethings; a staff member & I will have a quick conversation. At the end I'll be leaving with something new to research.. LOL! That's cool, they are cool & you can't go wrong leaving a library cool as hell & full of knowledge to spread elsewhere. Thank you Dorchester Rd Regional Library! Where like-minded people come & learn again

They are very helpful and informative. Needed to print some things out in legal paper and they had there own I brought my own legal paper needless to say i had to use a different computer to do this on because the computers that we log in on dose not print out legal paper and they let me use there computer behind the counter to do so. Thanks for all the help that u give. And the movie's if your looking for something and it's not there just ask and they will have it delivered to the library and send you an email when it comes in

The first library i actually visited here in south carolina it was clean and very quiet. Well organized! I mean the staff was amazing very professional.

Quiet, clean library with a very great selection of books. Helpful and friendly staff too!

Open again! Could go inside, look around, and pick up my requested items. FYI, with Otranto currently closed, this is where my requests went

Staff rude. Took my Grandson there who is autistic and we were told he was being distraction to other people in the library. Will never go there again.

Amazing place getting a library card was super fast and easy.
