I called initially for deed help. The receptionist was not very pleasant and her tone was un-professional. Though she did give advice in a knowledgeable manner. Too much to put here. I canceled the request for the deed due to not knowing how things were going to go with my MIL. Called back today to get it done again and the receptionist was totally rude,.uncaring,.down right mean. I don’t know how they stay in business. Very very un-professional.

Doesn’t deserve one star. I just called the office of John Dorsey and spoke with an EXTREMELY RUDE woman. She offered a date to come in and I asked, “not until then?” and in an abrasive tone she said, “ that’s just next week what do you want?” I told her she didn’t have to be so rude and she told me to find another attorney then hung up on me!!!!!!! I hope Mr. Dorsey is aware of his receptionist’s lack of professionalism and hateful demeanor.

DO NOT use this company! They are extremely rude and unprofessional when asking them questions! The woman who answered the phone has a short and nasty attitude, she has no place in real estate if she can't answer simply questions without getting upset and handing up. No wonder they have bad reviews!!!

They were not interested in taking my case. But referred my to his son at his own firm. He would take my case nut I was to pay 1st for a consultation. And second pay quite a bit if he was going to take it to court. To me that means he doesn't have a lot of faith in his own ability. This is just an opinion. No facts, just phone calls and My opinion.

I needed wills and powers of attorney prepared for my parents and this firm is small but mighty. They got it done right the first time. Very knowledgeable. Not sure why the bad reviews, but this is a small firm and it’s Charleston not New York.

Our mother passed and the family was in need of an estate attorney. Mr Dorsey was very knowledgeable in the policies and procedures needed, his fees were very reasonable and his staff and paralegal were wonderful. They made us all feel like family making a horrific event more bearable.

I live out of state but am dealing with a family property issue. I was looking for an attorney in WV to help navigate the law there and draw up a land contract etc. When I ask if I could speak with someone about WV real estate I was told "We do not give advice over the phone, good day" First off I needed an attorney but I do not want to drive 500 miles if they can't help me. And you can not even bother to find out what I need? My one and only experience via phone was horrible.

This guy is a hack. He charges for a consultation and doesn't do anything except start talking about research that I already looked up and how much he wants to charge for work I already did. Steer clear of this guy. He is a waste of time and money.

Just called asking for what type of paper I would need to print for a matter and was spoke to terribly by his receptionist. Apparently they don't appreciate their customers or care enough to speak kindly to others. Find another lawyer.
