Some of the best local selection around! These guys have really stepped it up with the newish owners. I realize they switched ownership a while back now, but my goodness they know what they're picking in the beer department! Lots of MD local beers, limited runs, small-batch, you name it, they're probably working on getting at least some in stock! I've been pleasantly surprised again and again at the options when browsing! I know it isn't the biggest store, but they make up for it in the variety they carry! Way to go guys!

Great service. I had an issue and dropped a bottle of juice while rushing for a birthday party. The guys were super helpful beforewhile I was looking for a few things and continued to be great even after I made a mess. Thank you!!!

Have everything I need and customer service is awesome

Good selection of beer and wine, along with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, but don't bother trying to go there on the weekend. More than half the times I've stopped by literally 4 of the last 7 times, there's a sign on the door that says they're on a bathroom break. Says they'll be back in 5 minutes, but the one time i decided to wait it was more like 15. Not sure what you guys are eating, but it's costing you customers.

Went there last night for some gin and came out with 6 new single beers to try and gin! They have a large variety of beers, including those that you typically don’t see in other liquor stores. It’s nice to get a can of a beer to try without committing to the whole pack. Plus, there’s a 10% discount on single beers if you buy more than 6. We are very excited to try the new beers! Also, the service was great and very helpful with suggestions for beers.

This place is awesome new ownership is outstanding. Chris is quite the character very charismatic and just loves being there and talking to people. Huge Maryland fan, I don't blame him because it's the best state to live in! The store has a new layout that I think people will really enjoy. They have Lottery too, bigger winners come from the outskirts of Baltimore. What I like most is that they have a build your own 6 pack. I don't know about y'all but I have bought a random 6 pack before. The problem is when you realize after the first sip you made a mistake and you still have 5 to go. With the build your own even if you get a crappy one you have 5 other different ones to choose from. Unless you picked 6 terrible ones. Ask any of the employees or Chris what they recommend I promise they will steer you clear. This place is a cool environment to be in and recommend if you like good prices and a wide variety this is the place for you.

This a small shop, so the selection will be limited. However, they've a nice, if small, selection of most everything. I've always found a palatable, in-season craft beer, and even some niche, locally-distilled craft bourbon. If you're local or in the area, it's a great place to grab something for the evening.

I've been shopping here for years, and when the former owner sold the business and the new crew took charge I was excited by the prospects for change. They new owners and their crew are extremely knowledgeable and quick to advise you into an up-sell on a spirit, beer or more wine for a discount. Recently however, I noticed despite sales and advertised lower prices, our bills were getting pretty expensive. Finally the wife and I started paying closer attention to what we were buying - and their prices. Sure enough, when rang up at the register the prices were not accurate. We alerted them to this, which they double-checked, and confirmed that yes, the price rang up wrong and "that's weird. We'll have to fix that." Once or twice is an accident; four distinct times where the bill has been inflated by $11 due to wrongly rung prices - that's a problem right there. Each time we alerted them to the mistake, thinking that wine or beer rang up wrong, and they check and confirm it had - and that they would fix it. I just cannot frequent this store anymore. I can understand up-selling you on a wine or spirit, these guys have to make money. But this seems like systematic robbery of the unsuspecting consumer. I have no idea how many times I didn't pay attention to my final price and mentally bounce it against what the price displayed was. It happened just tonight to the wife, again - 4th time! Sorry guys - you lost two customers...

Stopped in after waiting in a line at Honeybaked Ham... Best decision ever! They have a great wine selection, not to mention very friendly and energetic staff. I will definitely drive out of my from Hanover to visit this shop again!
