Dos Locos Tacos

While the food was delicious, the wait staff was awful. Our original waitress left without saying anything to us and then we had to find someone to bring us our check ourselves. They then tacked on a 10% gratuity fee onto the check and didn’t mention it, so we ended up paying an additional tip on top because we didn’t know they had already forced us to pay one. I always tip regardless, but if you’re going to add any fees into any bill you should let people know. Good food, awful service.

Yummy spot open late- tried the marinated mushroom taco lil spicy, veggie taco, steak taco, ckn empanada, chorizo tofu taco, baked hammtramck, horchata ~ staff was on point, food was hot and tasty Vegetarian options: Marinated mushroom taco was legit- spicier than the chorizo tofu! I had the steak tacos and they were delicious. The meat was so juicy and flavourful and the taco was finished nicely with cheese and onions, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. Walked in and left with my takeout order within five minutes. They have a vast selection of different hot sauces to choose from to spice things up as you see fit. Newly renovated interior and great staff.

This is a basic dining setup, plain simple but clean. It's in Hamtramck in an up and coming and coming area. Once one of the hostesses got to me, she greeted me and took my order. Between ordering and getting my food, I waited 30 minutes. This is for two tacos! The tacos were great, maybe the best I ever had, I had a lamb taco and chorizo taco. I will go back because the food was so great. I hope that the service will be better in the future.

Small taco spot with great people working theirs to serve you delicious food. Good 3 Al pastor tacos and they were perfect! Warmed them up in the over the next day and could ready taste the freshness of the corn tortilla. Pricing was reasonable, I’ll be back for more.Food: 5/5

I have been a patron of Dos Los Tacos for quite some time and every single time it's a great experience. The most recent time my husband and I went, Kayla helped me over the phone secure my carry out order. She suggested some combinations I hadn't tried yet such as getting nachos but with lamb meat because I love the lamb tacos! And a sauce on the side that made my tacos even more amazing than usual. I even got a chance to thank her via FT when my husband went and picked up the order. For a late night eat or just to eat GREAT tacos and quesadillas in general I will always go to Dos Los Tacos. And their renovations look amazing. I remember how it was before and I am so excited for this business and their continued success. Kayla, you are my girl for life! Thanks for the recommendations!

Do yourself a favor and make the 15 minute drive to a taco truck instead. The fact they charge 10% on every bill for the absolutely lackluster service is disheartening. I wouldn't have any issue paying that fee if the service was below average but it wasn't even there. The food and service was much better before they remodeled.Food: 2/5

The food is excellent every time, but I just went back to the new building and the vibe is pretty soulless. Plus one of the servers yelled at me from inside the bathroom for knocking on the door. That’s whatever, kinda weird tho. My rating would be a solid five, but eating in the new dining area feels cold and clinical, totally unlike eating at the old taco bar and chatting up the staff. Are there any plans to expand to the old building? I think that’d be a plus.

The tacos were amazing. The corn shells were made by an angel and sent down to earth. Needless to say, the food was worth the visit. The night I visited, they were short staffed. So, without a normal day, their service was suspect. It seemed to have a specific personage. BUT... The food here is worth anything you might have to go through! If you enjoy authentic mexican food, run do not walk to Dos Locos Tacos. After your first bite, I expect a thank you...

Stopped in for lunch. I ordered the shrimp, fish, and birria taco. EXCELLENT tacos!! Food came out extremely fast. Each taco had unique toppings that were really fresh. I loved the pineapple ontop of the fish tacos. The taco shells tasted freshly made and they grill the taco shells so the have a nice crunch. I will definitely go again for lunch
