Dothan Civic Center & Opera House

I bought meet and greet VIP tickets for Jeremy Camp and had to move because I am a large person and obviously someone behind was saying I was blocking their view. Not the most pleasant experience I had going to a concert, the seats are too close together which is why I was standing. Glad I don't have to go back there again.

Decent enough, for a 3,100-seat civic center venue in a small town: Lighting: more than adequate; Sound: visiting group brought their own, no idea what house system huge cluster can do; Entry/Egress: fair enough, but seems like we went through a brief & unnecessary maze, rather than direct access - &, more noticably, upon exit possibly to herd us past the few vendors. Event: PURSUIT Men's Conference Rick Burgess, of "Rick & Bubba" fame, et al. Overall, a really good & enjoyable experience.

The building is nice, but the seats are horrible! Went to see the Nutcracker, the show was awesome, but was very uncomfortable in the kid seats they offer..two hours squeezed in with the little bitty arm stuck in my hip, I was on front row, so I finally moved to the bottom step of the floor to sit, found the hard floor to be more comfortable...BTW, the concession stand needs to clarify on there credit card only sign that it is a $5.00 minimum..but that was a minor issue compared to those horrible seats!

Great place for get together.

Nice little Civic Center. Very clean. The personnel were kind & helpful, the food is reasonably priced. It was great to watch The Wiregrass Wreckers Roller Derby team win!

Voting at Dothan Civic Center was a great peaceful, and experience. Poll workers were efficient and polite. Our Civic Center is spacious and clean.

Will be glad when new one is built and have parking garage

Civic Center needs rails to hold onto in the balcony, no help going up and down stairs, anyone could fall very easily !

Biased and discriminating people and location. Unprofessional and inappropriate behavior from all administrative staff of people with mental and emotional problems. I do not recommend this location
