I have boarded my horse at this facility for over 9 years. This is the nicest facility in the area and the best footing in the arena that I have ever seen. The arena has rubber mixed in the sand and takes up a lot of the shock, much like running shoes. This is a family run business and they are really great. The atmosphere is very peaceful and there is no drama like I have seen at other facilities.
I boarded my horses at this facility for 3 1/2 months, I'm in college and very busy which means I can't make it out there all the time to see my horses. I went out there and I could see ribs, hip bones and more, all their muscle was gone because after they used up all their fat their body started to eat at their muscle from not having enough food. When I took them there they were had a nice amount of fat on them and muscle, you couldn't see one rib, ask my farriers and vets. When i removed my horses the owner sent me unprofessional messages with a bunch of sarcasm. They even said, "how many times were you out here? you never told them to feed them more. we did our best" and "weight loss is normal" as a boarding facility that is an unacceptable answer when I'm literally paying them to feed and take care of my horses. Weight loss is only normal when the horses is being worked, which mine were not and when they are on a calorie deficient diet. Considering how skinny my horses are right now and the fact they only spent 3 1/2 months there, this could have easily been a case of animal neglect. I do NOT recommend this place is you can't be out often because the owners will blame the weight loss on you.
Awesome people run this place it is spotless, indoor riding arena, observation room, the owners hit your basic needs and more. They go above and beyond. I absolutely love it there.
