Average hotel, nothing special to commend about it. I was disappointed that the room did not have a mini refrigerator and microwave. The floors appear not to have been vacuumed recently, but cleanliness was overall good. The bed sheets were clean and I felt the room was sanitized well. The hot water and water pressure in the bathroom was very good. I stayed on the 9th floor and had a peaceful sleep both nights. The AC made the room a comfortable temperature.
First room smelled like smoke. Went to the lobby to make the management aware of this. They give me another room. Went to that floor only to see that the room wasn't clean. Went back down to the lobby and got another room. The room was okay. The building looks good from the outside and the grounds are clean but the rooms are old. Paid good money and expected more. The Hilton needs to have this place renovated. I normally don't leave bad reviews but you guys need to do something about this hotel.
Well...hmm...this hotel needs to be remodeled. The rooms have decent space but are old...brown marks on ceiling rust on fixtures. Although dated, our room was clean. The people at front desk were VERY nice. Ask to have your room cleaned upon check in as standard is every four days of stay we were told..Rewards members, be sure to get clarity on what you can spend your $ on..was told at checkout that marketplace did not count..has to be at the restaurant which is not open for lunch.
Service was not what we expected for a “Hilton” and the price we paid. When we arrived, the room was not ready so we had to waste an hour before we could come back and we are not from the area. Once we got into our room, it had no fridge and the room was dirty. The tub had what looked like mold, the lamp shades had holes as well as the sheets, the window shade fell off the rack once we moved it. Totally beat down room and they call this a King suite? The floor was also uneven near the window. Restaurant was closed and when we went to purchase a few items from downstairs, I was left waiting until I said something and the response I got was pay at the front desk without even a slight look my direction. Thank god we only stood one night! I have had better experiences at a 2 star hotel. I do not recommend until they clean up there act and I am not sure I am staying at a double tree in the future.
Although this hotel was built a long time ago, it was very clean. The waitress in the bar/restaurant has been there over 10 years so that shows what a great place it is to work. The breakfast buffet was worth the price. My husband was also able to get a fully loaded omelette made to order and I got 2 eggs over easy. Those were in addition to the buffet, but no additional charge.
Stayed here for a local convention. Because of the convention parking was almost impossible to find. I had to drive around for 30min just to find a parking spot so I could check in since the hotel shares parking with the convention center. I understand that they are affiliated but there should be hotel parking only for those who are paying to have a room. The room was fine but every time the ac kicked on it sounded liked a gas generator was running in the room for 20min at a time. It was so loud that by 4am I got up and shut it off entirely so I could sleep. Walls are also a bit thin, could clearly hear showers running from the rooms beside me. I also stayed here once before and experienced the thin walls for less enjoyable reasons. If you're determined to be by the convention center it works but I'd almost rather risk having to park at the mall next to it and walk to the convention than be kept up all night.
New year's weekend getaway. We are a family of six including a disabled grandma. 3 adults and 4 children. So that means there's more luggage. Got to the front desk there was no luggage carts to be found ridiculous! So my family had to lug all the luggage on the elevator and had to make two trips. We rented two rooms. I brought some food that needed to be refrigerated. Come to find out there's no refrigerator or a microwave not even a safe. What in the world! I'm 54 years old stayed in hotels and motels and you mean to tell me as much money that was payed a night for this hotel with no refrigerator or microwave. We've stayed in a motel overnight for a road trip and it had an a equipped kitchen for less than the price of this hotel. The hotel rooms are old outdated needs to be upgraded. The beds are hard like bricks and I would never stay here again. Everything was dusty and filthy including drawers and coffee machine was dusty and to 10 mins fill up cups. Customer service was excellent. If I need a towels more bidding coffee Etc they were here in no time. I will give customer service five stars but the hotel is TRASH! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! I never expected this from a HILTON company.
Pros: Clean, Quite, Friendly yet Professional staff Cons: Room that was given to me had the safety lock broken and it was smelling as if a rat was dead in the room. However the person at the reception was helpful and immediately gave us another room. This room had a bathtub that was not draining water properly. They really need to work on fixing some of these maintenance issues. Overall a great stay for the price !!
I was not impressed with this hotel at all! I picked it thinking it would be better quality than the Quality Inn we stayed at last year. Wrong! 2/3 elevators worked. There idea of an accessible room is a bar in the shower. The shower was slippery and had no nonslip mat to keep you from falling. The toilet was low. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept. I moved the chair and found an old empty little hug container. The AC was loud. We were all congested from being in the room. The ceiling paint was falling off by the curtains. No refrigerator. No washer/dryer for guests to do their own laundry. When we were ready to leave, there were no luggage carts to bring our bags down. I will not book this hotel ever again!
According to the price, the room was below standard. The furniture was old and worn. I felt itchy when sitting on it. The bed was not properly made and the pillows were horrible. I expected so much more. We were told the room was an upgrade. Scared of what the other room would have looked like. Where were the cookies?Rooms: 1/5
