Dough Boyz NF

This would be a general review for the Dough Boyz product. - I’m sure there are folks out there who would love this, much like there is a niche market for haggis. I do hope the folks who like this come out frequently and in droves as anyone willing to take an entrepreneurial leap is more adventurous than myself. Best of luck, but please do not ask me for a reference.

An interesting and unique concept, this snack shop offers a treat that comes in a variety of flavors, and is scooped like ice cream. If you have fond memories of licking cake or cookie dough off a mixer, this might be for you. While homemade dough has risk of pathogens, due to eggs and flour that haven't been cooked, this store's dough is made without eggs, and their flour is sterilized they don't explain the method, but I know the technology exists so it is safe to eat. The company seems to be going through a rebranding, as the website redirects from doughboyzdough to edibledoughlife. Since the old name coincides with a rap group, I suspect it's a trademark issue. I'll warn you, even the small size is a lot of carbohydrates for one person. I enjoyed the taste, but wouldn't be ordering this often.

This was my first time having edible cookie dough, it was enjoyable. But, it's not something I would have quite often do to the overall texture.

The idea of it is awesome, but it's not the best "treat" I've ever had. Not something you'd crave or want often.
