After graduating from dental school at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1974, I accepted a dental associate-ship in Brooklyn, N.Y. and worked there until 1986, taking over Dr. James Botwick's practice in Oyster Bay, N.Y.
Since that time, our staff and I have looked to maintain a practice built on restorative dental restoration and preventative dental medicine. Our emphasis has always been on maintaining as much of a patient's natural dentition as possible, and then rebuilding or restoring our patient's mouths to fit their cosmetic needs. With a good dental foundation almost anything cosmetically can be accomplished. As dental implants have become almost routine, the range of restorative options for all patients has been greatly enhanced, regardless of age or previous history. Our office has been performing oral implants since coming to Oyster Bay.
All cleanings and scalings are done personally by me, and digital radiography allows all patients to participate in their examinations with the office.
Though dental insurance programs do have their lilmitations, our staff will do their very best to coordinate treatment and allow insurance patients to receive the maximum benefits from their carriers.
