This place kinda sucked to be honest. Super small. Would not recommend. It's $25 to get in plus if you want to see any attractions they charge an extra fee. Parking is also $15. The highlight of the place is a white tiger...yes a white tiger at the aquarium is the highlight. If you're doing city pass Id definitely do another option.Visited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$31+
Aquarium is very small for the price you pay. We had a city pass, and we needed to pay extra for shark train, which should be a part of Aquarium. We went through for less than 30 min. My daughter liked they animal talks which is free and tiger's room.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
Pretty fun experience. I found this is more of an experience for kids than adults. There are a few fun rides that my kids really enjoyed. The exhibit itself was pretty small compared to other aquariums I’ve visited. The stingray reef was my favorite part of our visit. Feeding and petting the stingrays was such an amazing experience. It was so worth the cost. We got all day passes and we took advantage and got on all the rides, walked through the exhibit twice. The train ride was so fun! I was a little bummed at first about not being able to see any sharks but the train ride takes you through a tunnel where all the sharks are. It was beautiful. This was such a fun family experience, I’d highly recommend for anyone to take their kids for a day!
DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS CRUELTY. This was the most heartbreaking Aquarium I have ever seen, almost if not all tanks were what I would consider inhumane for all animals at this aquarium, between the moon jellyfish in a Petrie dish to the huge turtle and one massive fish that were in a tank that at a guess would be around 3m by 1m max!! These displays not aquarium tanks are what would be considered a prison sentence for these beautiful animals, whether they have been raised in captivity or not, they should at the least have the freedom to move in. I’m honestly unsure how this place has not been investigated and shut down. It brought me to tears! An aquarium should be a place of learning and experience not animals that look miserable on display for some money! Greed is definitely the back bone of this place. And before you ask, yes I would like to speak with one of your biologists…. most animals here are far too big for the environment they are living in, and some had injuries, absolutely dismal!! not to mention the tiny cat play pen for the tigers! I can see why they were taken to court twice for that. The company that owns this is into restaurants & entertainment maybe they should stick to that leave the animals in the care of trained and accredited people…. Do not bring your children here, take them to an ethical, educational aquarium or wildlife sanctuary where they can view what it should be like. This is nothing but pathetic and an injustice for all animals here. I hope you get shutdown.
We loved it . Spent the whole day and we all enjoyed our time. We bought the all-day tickets which cover all aquarium shows and exhibits. And we repeated all of them several times. The shark voyage is nice but the time was so little to enjoy the sharks. If you are planning to spend the whole day it is better to park at the aquarium Park. It will cost additional 15 dollars. Price for entry: $25 Ticket type: All day tickets
overall it was a fun experience with my family. some exhibits were small but i enjoyed them anyways. the stingrays were cute but i saw that one had its tail cut off or something. the shark ride was also fun. i got my tickets discounted so i'd say it was worth the priceVisited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
The aquarium is very small. Best exhibits are the stingray pool and the tiger. If it was not for the rides in the back, I would have felt ripped off at $28 a person. The kids enjoyed everything. The atmosphere was good and the alcohol was a redeeming feature.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$21–30
Good place for kids to enjoy the creatures of sea. Element of surprise was the tigers den in aquarium Staff was nice and kind, ambience was good however it was too small. Have been to aquariums in other cities but this is too small for a day out
Pretty cool place to go. Saw lots of different fishes and a tiger too. Go on the train because it was really cool to see the sharks. The sting rays were cool to pet and see but a couple of them had cuts near the nostrils/ front of them. That’s the only reason I gave them a 4 star.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
I’ve been to the Downtown Aquarium plenty of times. The train and other rides they have are very nice and fun for kids. The splash pad is also very pretty and popular as well. Today I came for dinner which was delicious! The restaurant at the aquarium is beautiful with a beautiful view of the city. I definitely recommend coming to eat at night.
