Surgery went well doctor had all my teeth pulled out in min he's great at making sure your not in pain dental assit. Where great I highly recommend this dentist to everyone
This is the actual worst dentist i have ever been to and experienced, everyone was unprofessional and seemed to not know what they were doing and took their time to getting nowhere while cleaning my teeth then spit on my face while talking, never coming back here a real nightmare
Have been to DownTown Dental several times. Always a good experience with the dentist and assistant. They only did the work required and did not over charge me like some previous dentist. Example: One tooth had a lot of decal under it and the dentist told me there was a 50/50% chance I would need a root canal... After taking off the filling he said he was able to save it as he said he did not see any nerve pink and was able to fill it up and add a regular white filling. So far so good... I highly recommend them! 10/27/2022
Worst wisdom tooth extraction that left an infection. Then they chiped my front tooth during a cleaning. I left a message as soon as i got home, not only did they never call back but they refused to admit any wrong doing or fix the problem. And she was singing and dancing around while doing the cleaning which is probably how it happened in the first place. I would never recommend them to anyone.
The entire staff was fun, energetic, and caring. After an awful experience with another dentist who made me feel gross, was truley rude, careless and rough I decided to try downtown dental. They were amazing on both of my appointments with them. The dentist are so great, they were kind and patient and gentle. They listened to me and my concerns, advised me of what i needed without pushing any unnecessary work on me, worked with my budget and made me feel very comfortable. The staff was very informative, thoughtful and made me laugh. I will definitely return for all of my dental needs.
The staff is unprofessional. Be prepared to wait 2+ hours for your appointment to begin. They'll reschedule your appointment and never put the information in the system. They make a lot of sly comments. It's not kid friendly. They treated my daughter as if she were a problem. She's just a young girl who's fearful of the dentist. If you're in pain and ask for a prescription, they'll treat you like you're drug seeking. This is California people. I don't have to get a fix from the dentist. I just want descent service like anyone else. 1 . It should be zero stars.
The ladies from the staff are great. They are very helpful and make you feel right at home. However, the orthodontist is terrible. I had braces put on and my gums started getting swollen and the orthodontist just ignored it and proceeded to extract 2 teeth supposedly to fix my bite. After my gums started getting worst they recommended me to a periodontist who had to do corrective surgery on me and it was very expensive. Now my teeth are worst then ever, I can’t wear braces anymore, I have 2 less teeth and might have to have some more extracted. They really did a number on me!!!
Really confused by the amount of terrible reviews, just had a wisdom tooth extraction where the tooth had broke and become infected and was about the smoothest dental experience I'd ever had. Maybe I got lucky and caught them on a slow day, but everyone was nice. Even the oral surgeon was pleasant past experiences have shown that the majority of them are snobby and rarely say anything other than warnings of pain to come. Was my first visit there and the whole visit from paperwork to extraction was barely over an hour. Also they were very reasonably priced was a cash visit. Should I have dental needs in the future they will definitely be seeing more of my business. Recommended.
Just got my wisdom teeth removed and boy was the doctor really rough and it made me uncomfortable when the nurse would joke around with him and it would make him laugh and move. The nurse would press too hard on my tongue and I couldn't breathe then they'd tell me not to move my tongue, And I still felt every pain even with the anesthetic, and as they were putting the anesthetic in that hurt so much I couldn't help but cry and shake because the doctor was so rough and not giving me time to relax myself it's like he just wanted to get it over with. Everyone had a bad attitude, some were rude too. Wish they would have been a little gentle instead of yanking my mouth and cutting my lip.
I’m a caregiver and took my recipient to have some cavities fixed and 8 root canals done in order to get partials and she is afraid of the dentist, it was a long process which started out a bit rough but with the care and understanding of the staff and Dr Rodriguez for caring and explaining everything she was doing before she did it made the visits much more relaxed and now my recipient is almost done and is no longer afraid of going to the dentist !! Thank you to the staff and a special shout out to Dr. Rodriguez !!!
