We are a volunteer group of merchants and friends that live, play or work in and around the downtown Kannapolis area. We want to bring new businesses, jobs, people, and events to the downtown area. Downtown Kannapolis Inc (DKI) is a non profit organization comprised of business & community leaders committed to revitalize the historic downtown district. DKI provides proactive community based leadership in partnership with city government. Our primary goal is to create a thriving downtown through marketing & promotion, coordination of events & programs and support of investments in the physical environment.
