Established in 1979 and proudly owned and operated by the Riley family, The Downtown Lounge has been a favorite bar and restaurant in Lebanon PA for a long time. Operating a bar and restaurant for over 30 years is no small feat. Really cool building with tons of authorgraphed pics to peruse. Service was prompt but food took a bit to come out and we didn't really order anything complicated. Two quesadillas, nachos and a cheesesteak sandwich. Food was nothing special. Girls liked their nachos and quesadillas but my sandwich left a lot to be desired. Portions were very generous. Might be back but also might not.
I was with my family. It was too busy . The server was friendly and did a get job. The service/kitchen was EXTREMELY slow. The food was okay, but it isn't something that I would want to have again.
Cool, old-fashioned bar with lots of wall hangings. Drink specials included an orange crush which was good. Caprese salad was lacking the basil and we got dry rubbed Cajun wings that were hardly seasoned. Ray Lewis burger was good but messy.
Good downtown bar, service was a bit slow, but depends on the night you are in. Good beers on tap for sure, but I have yet to try the food. I am sure I will be back and get to know it a bit better. Side note, I live else where and came in to meet up with some business partners, was a great place for a pint and a meeting, I do love the style of the space.
Clean and drink prices are reasonable. The food is good as well and every night there are specials food and drinks that are discounted to choose from. I chose to go on "wing night". The wings were great, however this is a popular night and there was a bit of a wait for the wings to come but a small price to pay for the quality and excellent service.

When the former owners had it, dining there was really great! Staff was always very courteous, food was good! Since under the newer ownership a few years ago, it has gone down hill..my experience last night was at an all time low....after sitting in the party room for almost 25 minutes we were told we would have to place our orders at the bar....we wouldn't have a server because a cook had quit... Yes you heard me correctly....then told by the owner, that the front part of the lounge was more important....have I mentioned that we booked our party a month ago and called the night of said party to confirm our reservations but she failed at that moment to inform us of her situation? But it would be our fault if we felt neglected cuz all we had to do was go to the bar and get what we wanted.....NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! I would rather drink from a toilet and eat from a garbage can!!!!
I have a had a few decent items from here, so the food is fine, good for Lebanon bars, not amazing. It’s super odd though that they don’t do takeout on random evenings when they’re busy. They also won’t let you take their taco or wing specials to go, even when I’m ordering other items. Just super odd business practices imo. I think they’d want my money. Won’t be ordering again as I’ve been turned away three times in a row now. Edit: got desperate and ordered, luckily they had pickup. Added a star back.
Great time!! Tenders were very professional and they even sang a few karaoke songs! Very hospitable and caring, had a great all around time!!!! Food and drinks were on point.... and that's what sealed the deal! See ya next Thursday!
