Doyt Perry Stadium

Description

Doyt L. Perry Stadium is a stadium on the campus of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, United States. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Bowling Green Falcons football team. It opened in 1966 and originally held 23,232 people.HistoryOn October 1, 1966, the stadium opened with a 13-0 win over Dayton. The stadium was named for Doyt L. Perry, a highly successful coach and athletic director at the school. It was meant to replace University Stadium, a WPA stadium in the heart of campus which lasted 43 seasons. On October 8, 1983, the annual Toledo-Bowling Green football game established a school and MAC attendance record of 33,527.RenovationsFor the 2007 football season the stadium received an upgrade. The Sebo Center was built and enclosed the north endzone. It houses band seating, luxury suites, offices, training facilities and new box offices. The grass field was also replaced with a Fieldturf artificial surface. Nevertheless, Doyt Perry Stadium has the second smallest capacity of any stadium among schools in the MAC - ahead of only Ball State University's Scheumann Stadium. Additionally in 2007, the stadium underwent further renovations, complying with new NCAA seating regulations which increased the listed capacity from 23,272 to 24,000.

We love going to games at Bowling Green. Reasonable concessions, seats close to the field, and friendly fans, not to mention cheap tickets make this an awesome experience!
BGSU games are never NOT A good time... and when they win handily it's even BETTER.
Very nice college stadium. We are passing through the area in support of Bike The US For MS and had a chance to look at the Stadium
My 8 year old son attended BGSU football camp recently with the WCBDD and had such an amazing time! Everyone was so friendly and made him feel so special. He even got some of the football team to sign his leg cast. He also got to take pictures with a few of them. Thank you boys for making him feel so special He now wants to be a football player just like his new buddies he said.
The coolest place to watch football. If you are a Falcon, then this is home. 100 years celebration ended with a win. 2022!
Nice campus, lots of football fields.
Ay Ziggy Zoomba! The place to watch BGsU football
Fun stadium to attend a football game. BGSU runs a top notch facility and university! Highly recommend this Division I MAC school.
We are so grateful that the stadium is open during the Bowling Green Spring Soccer tournament. It's nice to have the restrooms as an option.
A really interesting stadium that was open to the public with a number of folks walking, working out, and running the stairs. The stadium is conveniently located near the highway and a number of restaurants and hotels. It is also an easy walk to campus. The stadium has really nice offices and an athletic complex on the north end.
