About Dr. Andrew
Dr. Andrew is a Mahoning County local. He graduated from Jackson-Milton High School in 2006. He graduated from Walsh University (located in North Canton, Ohio) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an Associate of Arts in Human Services. He then went on to attend New York Chiropractic College and Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where he graduated with his Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master of Science in Acupuncture.
Dr. Andrew is Mahoning County’s only Licensed Acupuncturist; he is the only practitioner within an hour drive that holds a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture. He is one of two Licensed Acupuncturists in Trumbull County. He also holds a Diplomat in Acupuncture through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He recently spent one month in China and studied in the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has had over 2,300 contact hours of training in acupuncture (Ohio only requires a chiropractor to have 300 hours).
Dr. Andrew also has multiple certifications in dealing with soft tissue injuries (massage techniques for injured muscles, tendons, and ligaments) including Active Release Technique, Nimmo trigger point therapy, and Connectx which is an instrumented soft tissue technique. Active Release Technique is the gold standard in soft tissue techniques. He is the only full body provider within an hour drive.
