Dr. Bogart is great with kids. His office staff are great. I greatly question his dental ability. He did extensive dental work on my grandson 2 years ago. Two of his teeth came out unexpectedly in the first year. I wondered if that happened because of the work. Today, my grandson just had more work done elsewhere. He had to have 2 primary molars removed because the roots were dissolving. I was shown the X-rays and told the bad work done previously by Dr Bogart was causing the need to remove the teeth. Don’t be fooled by bedside manner and a beautiful office. Beware
Great dentist, very professional, Thorough, and organized. I would have given 5 stars, but their office rules are so strict that they have caused a huge inconvenience for me multiple times. I am a single mom with three kids, so my mother generally helps with routine check ups. Even though my kids have been going there 3+ years they would not allow my mother to fill out their medical record with my permission even though they have written approval for her to bring them. I would have filled the forms out myself if they were provided before the day of the apt. I asked for understanding/compromise since they were long standing patients....and there was NONE! And I was not allowed to speak to the dentist himself. They made no attempt to keep our business!! Three customers lost today!
After years of service I just fired them. Dr. Bogert is great with kids and we love him. However, today we forgot an appointment - they called my wife when we were 10 minutes late and were very rude - I rushed my daughter over there arriving 15 minutes after our appointment time and was given a lecture. I presume they had moved others up into the time we had made available by being late, and I presume could have probably worked us in but they refused and we rescheduled - 2 months in the future. I called my regular dentist and scheduled my daughter for their next available appointment. When I called Dr. Bogerts' office back to cancel they asked if I wanted to reschedule my daughters appointment and when I told them that we would not be returning they hung up on me. We will deeply miss Dr. Bogert, but NOT the front office staff.
Over a year ago, I took my daughter for some extensive work without shopping around, as I had insurance. Even with insurance it was well over $3,000.00. As a single father, I work during banking hours and only had the day off to take her into her morning appointment. Therefore, I could not get to the bank before going into get the work done. They opted to hold my daughter hostage until I could pay. Also, after taking her to another dentist, almost all that work had either fallen out or had to get redone. It was much more affordable elsewhere, also. I will never suggest anyone use this place.
Dr. Bogart has been our dentist for 10 years. We have been going since 2006. My daughter's love him and I love the patient and caring staff. Dr. Bogart always talks directly to them and lets them know what is going on. One happy Mom!
I found them unhelpful and uncaring! My daughter is a school teacher and I babysit my 4 year old granddaughter for her. I tried to make an appointment for my granddaughter to get a check up and teeth cleaning. Their policy is a parent must attend the first appointment and they only do morning appointments! I explained my daughter teaches school and can't miss work. I asked if she could stop by in person prior to the appointment and sign authorization for me to substitute in her place at the appointment and they said NO! They were unwilling to make the appointment after 3:00 when school is out so my daughter wouldn't have to take off work! This dentist doesn't seem to care about working families needs in the least! I contacted another pediatric dentist who had no problem with me attending the appointment in my daughters place!
Dr. Bogert is awesome with both of my kids. They look forward to their next dentist appointment all the time. I highly recommend this place. They allow the parent to come in the back while the kids are getting worked on.
Dr Bogert has been my daughter's dentist for 18 years and sadly we have to change dentist due to her going off to college. Dr Bogert actually called me after her last appointment to tell me how much he enjoyed seeing her and wanted to thank us. We lived in the CLC area when she was a baby and moved to midtown 15 miles away when she was 3 yrs old. We kept him as her pediatric dentist despite the distance because he and his staff are worth it. I saw one negative post and I will say they run a tight ship and have their way of doing things and I respect that. The office and practice run like a well oiled machine. Everyone there has always been very polite and courteous. I have nothing BUT POSITIVE things to say about Dr Bogert and his staff.
Be very careful with this place. The dentist is great, but an office administrator recently explained that my child needed a special xray panoramic view. I explained that the standard xray was fine. She went on to say that the panoramic xray was fully covered, and was very convincing. I said ok. Now, I just got a letter saying I'm 90 days delinquent on a payment. I called the office & they were rude, unprofessional and had no remorse for giving me incorrect information about it not being covered. All she did was ask what payment method I'd be using. Again, great dentist, but lying staff makes it a thumbs down from me. I won't be back.
The whole staff here is extremely kind and great with the kids. Dr. Bogert takes his time with each patient. Could not ask for a better experience!
