If your coming here because you just found out your pregnant congratulations on your pregnancy. This isn’t the place for you, the staff can be rude and insensitive. I’m not looking for hugs and squeezes but an ounce of kindness would go a long way here. One woman at the front desk I’m particular is extreme amounts of rude. She shouldn’t even be allowed to handle plants or animals much less pregnant women. She’s lacking something in her life. There is a Dr. that aims to make women cry according to different women that we talked after my wife had an awful appointment with him. According to the staff and women he won’t be fired because supposedly he is a good surgeon. Which I would rather let a cactus perform surgery on me over him. On top of all the negative things I have and could go on about, spouses are not allowed in. So if you thought your spouse would be there every moment through this journey they won’t be. Even my friend in NYC has her husband going in to her appointments. We are talking about a city that was obliterated by covid with more deaths than any place in the U.S and even they allow spouses to mask up and come into appointments to see their child and support their wife. This Doctors office has low standards. I’d seriously look into another doctor, we did. Unprofessional, tacky and out dated.
Please avoid at all costs, I do not want any other people to experience mistreatment from this practice. I had my two children as a patient at this practice '18 and '21. While my first pregnancy was not perfect, I had an overly "fine" experience. My second however I noticed dramatic shifts in the staff and overall tone of the practice. In my labor I was made fun of, blamed for how it was going, comments directed to me about my weight, and more. The next morning the tone got worse. At my 6 week appt I reported this to the midwife who said she would have the office staff follow-up with me, no one ever did. Recently I caught up with other patients and learned they experienced similar treatment and also had medically threatening problems with this practice. Please go to a place where the value pregnant people and their experiences.
The entire staff is amazing! They are very nice and warm. I lost my baby girl and they showed so much compassion. They even called to check up on me and sent a sympathy card. It really meant alot. I absolutely love this place
The negative reviews are accurate. I switched at 8 Weeks because of the innate unprofessionalism. The front desk receptionist is rude, accused me of insulting her when I asked for an appointment with the Doctor instead of one of the Doctor's PAs. They lost my bloodwork, spouses/partners can only come into the sonograms, if you tell the nurses you're having odd symptoms, I guarantee you they will tell you to 'drink more water.' I received a Dear John Letter from Dr. berry herself that came two weeks after I switched Doctors. Which sets the tone for the way this office operates.
I had stopped going here due to working on the road for quite a while. I restarted with this practice at the Liverpool location. My experience with Terry was absolutely terrible. I developed a bald spot on my head and was concerned it was hormonal, as well as other wonky symptoms I wanted to get addressed. My concerns were minimized and rudely dismissed, to say nothing of how I was talked down to. I found the support/ office staff to be great but the clinical staff is atrocious. Not sure I will be back.
I left the practice. I had good and not so good forgotten in the waiting room, put in storage area for exam, nice nurses and most of the doctors experiences until I was scheduled with a new doctor who was unprofessional and laughed throughout most of the appointment, and told me to lie to my primary doctor to have my primary doctor take over prescribing a gyn. medication.
The office waiting area is bright and roomy. Receptionist was very nice. Short wait before I was called back. Nurse brought me back asked if I would mind that the Dr. Berry Had a student following her. I was fine with that. Marlena the Student, came in we chatted about me, she was very attentive and personable. Dr. Berry came in and the student and the Dr did the exam together To cover any teaching moments. Dr. Berry answered all my questions and we had a teaching moment. LOL The office is very clean and all the staff have been very caring and professional. I have been a patient for 6 years now and I would recommend this practice.
Not recommended for trans patients. They will ask preferred name and pronouns on the intake forms but never use them. I can never speak to a person on the phone either. Every single call is answered with a robot saying the office is closed despite it being open.
They don't care about their patients what do ever, they care how about how much money you can make them. I'm 19 weeks pregnant trying to switch doctors and they won't even send my medical records after receiving the release form. The last appointment I had they had to reschedule because of a meeting they apparently had and then they called me that day and said I missed it. Worst doctor I have ever been to by far.
I was having an issue and came in to be looked at for half a second and told it was an allergic reaction to a menstrual cup, which didn't make sense cuz I'd been using it for 3 or 4 months already. My next regular appt I told the nurse I'm not on birth control and opt for natural planning methods instead but I'm not trying to have a baby. The dr comes in and first thing she says is, "So you're trying to have a baby?" and was very intrusive about getting on birth control. Mind you I wouldn't be upset if I got pregnant, I'm not being irresponsible. Very rude, I don't remember her name unfortunately, some grey-haired woman. She also lectured me about occasional cannabis use. She did recommend me some vitamins to try out for focus and anxiety, although that's not what I was there for. I plan on finding somewhere else to go in the future. The reception staff was very nice and helpful to me though.
