Modern, clean and very organized. I just got my first library card in Texas, and checked out my first new book! The gentleman at the counter was very nice and informative. This is now my go to place for everything.
Staff could be friendlier -- I always get the feeling they're mildly annoyed that my kids and I are intruding on their kingdom and a smile once in a while never killed anyone -- and hours are remarkably inconvenient for families with school aged children. 5-9 pm is not a time most young children are free for leisurely library visits dinner, homework, baths, sports practices, bedtime, etc which leaves only Saturday afternoons. We'd be in there a couple times a week, every week, if we could come after school.
Should FIRE everyone that works here! Make sure the new staff knows you can record in public! How can people live/born in this country and not know the RIGHTS WE ALL HAVE? EDUCATED IDIOTISM IS THE REAL PANDEMIC!
Bunch of low grade people who TRAMPLE on the community! Do better. You don't own the tax payers buildings and you wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for the tax payers! Start treating the community better!
Hands down, best library I have ever been too! All the librarians care about their patrons. They organize events all the time for children, teens, adults, seniors, etc. they also get involved with helping re-home animals from the shelter. Even during covid, they remain open and determined to serve the community by being able to check out books with carry out servicestaying in your car, and they deliver it to you. They even have cake pans you can check out! I’ll say it again- BEST LIBRARY EVER!
The little engine who could. Despite budget cuts and the lack of literary interest in this town, this library runs the best it can. They manage to have a great selection of books for young children and adults. They even think outside the box and let you borrow tools and have educational events. They are open to suggestions and volunteering.
If you I don’t want to respect the United States constitution have the border move your library into Mexico. You are uneducated and shouldn’t be working at a library where you can reference the constitution of the United States of the of America.
If you are looking for a quiet place to study, this is not the place. What ever happened to libraries being a place where you must be quiet or leave?! The kids are absolutely rude and have zero respect for those around them! I was here trying to get homework done because my own computer was not available at the moment and I figured since this library was open later than most in the area I would be able to knock out a lot of the work I needed to get done. Turns out I was wrong. There was literally people shouting across the entire library and I could not focus what so ever! Then they wonder why I am shaking my head and eyeballing them with a look of disgust. All the staff does is make it worse by say "SHHHHHHHHH!!!" louder than anyone is already being. I don't normally leave reviews but this was extremely frusterating. I will not ever be back and will find a much more peaceful environment to get work done.
They close @ 2p and reopen @5p and then close @9m...I wasn't aware of this. Have to go to another library. Their computers run very slow. I remember this was an issue many years ago and still is. Won't be back!!
It is a small library actually connected to Kaffie middle school. There is an entire section designated for Kaffie MS. There is also a very nice children's library room separated from the main library by windows and a door which has a large selection of books and several computers. There are more computers in the main library for adults. Staff are wonderfully helpful. Overall a decent small library.
